So often in life we listen to someone’s voice, we sit with the intent of hearing what is being said. But the reality is much different, for as the person speaks, we hear only what we want to hear, and form an opinion on only half of what was said, and sometimes, we miss the point all together.
Not because we consciously set out to do so, but because the human mind can be restless, or too busy formulating what we want to say, that we miss an important part of the sentiment being imparted to us.
Listening is an art. One that no matter how good we think we are at it, there is always room for improvement.
Make today a different day. Instead of doing the same old thing, be creative and do things to improve your day.
