The mounds you see are chip-wood, or mulch if you will. I tried to get a picture of the haze that was happening over them. If you are able to close in, I hope you will see the steam. Very interesting. When we stop to enjoy, we see “LIFE” happening.. =^_^=

Always be cheerful, happy and good humored. When you make effort to be cheerful and happy, you will naturally begin to feel that way.

journey continues

detour through terrain scarred with memories of the past
I was uncomfortable with what I saw and heard
the train was there, but simply wasn’t moving
the buildings, the vehicles, everything was there, except for people
then in the distance, I saw and heard the music. It was a bikini skating party! There I was with my friends Nick, Mel, Rhi, Eclair, Chloe, Chey, Sandi . oh someone has her skates on, wonder if mine are with me ..(red one piece) Then the music faded, and I was alone again.
friends were enjoying the night, but for me, I was still in my dream
I turned and headed towards daylight. Another day begins.

Don’t give up! Stick with it, as many times as it takes. Sometimes you want to just throw in the towel and say, “I give up”, but that is the time for you to dig deep and push through. Your sincere effort will invite a good outcome.

Seek and ye shall find. What a glorious day, Keeper and I did our trip to the food bank, (keeper is my female whippet). It was mild with a bit of a nip, but we didn’t mind, the roads were dry and the sky and bright blue, not a cloud in the sky. The kind of blue one gets on a soon to be winter day. The vegetation was colourful in that rustic faded autumn colours that seem to charm me, with the muted shades of brighter days.

I saw fields of harvest gold inter spaced with black wet earth. another field of a crop that was being harvested tempted me, the big machine was in motion, turning a corner as we sped by. There was enough traffic going south today, I didn’t get much opportunity to stop. I could only soak the delightful scenes in for future processing. Made a mental note to come home a different route so that I could search out, a souvenir of our expedition.

Happiness is standing on a quiet road, off the roadways that travel from town to town, and enjoying the quiet of the day. This is the property I found the tree on. You can see that for the most part, all the snow we got the last week or so, is gone. I hope that you had a restful day, that you managed quality time for YOU.

Be in tune with the changing times and evolving society The world is ever changing always strive to refresh your mind staying in step with the changing times.

trees

Trees reaching towards the sky, as far as the eye can see,

lost in the bush, no not me, but lost in the moment, yes

I travel the distance to visit the open skies and the wild abandon of the tall-growing trees

In any direction I head, I know that just around the bend, I will find a crop of trees

Yesterday with the azure skies and dazzling sunshine, it was anyone’s guess just where my day would lead, without a care, I let my spirit roam.  I soon found myself on a highway headed south-west.  Crossing the 416 I knew I would stop for food in Kemptville.  Taking myself out is always a surprise.  A&W and fries, and lots of cold water. yum.

Happy is different for everyone.  Find yours today.  Every day is a new opportunity to find and express, appreciation, and gratitude for the “happy” in our lives.

Did I spot something in the field?  No, I caught the moment.  For me it was joyful.

PL Calendar, day 16   Don’t hold anything back; give it your all

Always approach things with full enthusiasm and energy. Then, things will develop in a new direction.

I love my life, and all the goodness that surrounds me.  You are a part of this goodness, when you share with me, I appreciate the time you took to visit my blog, and thrilled to bits when you drop in and say hi, or express your views.  Life is good when we appreciate those around us.  Life is good when we love unconditionally.

off route 43

Wednesday

alexandria 8.4.eTravel down an old country road on a lazy afternoon just two old friends, out for a drive. A country lass and an urban miss.  The old hydro lines are what caught my eye.  We stopped so I could get a shot.  We were not that far off the beaten track, yet, the fields of green, and the old lines, gave me a feeling of another time and place,.

Best of all I was with someone who had grown up in the country, and loved the fields of crops and the newly cut hay just as much as I did.  We would sigh with contentment when we passed peaceful gathering of cows enjoying the shade of sprawling trees  sheltered by outcrops of large boulders and rocks.

Too often I am traveling down a major highway or road to a destination, this was a just because drive.  No deadline, no specific time frame, just a drive, with a stop for lunch at a marina along the way. talking was optional.

alexandrria 8,4,18Be kind to yourself.  Make time for you.  Lazy summer days are few and far between when we live a busy lifestyle.

That day we had mostly sunshine, but the rain did fall, we got the black rolling clouds, and vivid display of lightning.  Made our day complete.  Have you ever smelled the lush green meadows after a rainfall?  Experienced the return of the sun and clear blue skies after an explosive down pour.  the change in temperatures during all this variety of weather.  Mother Nature works her magic in very special ways.

Get out and enjoy the day, make today a special day.
