PL calendar day 24
Things that all have a meaning. everything that happens to us, happen for a reason. Each and every occurence is a chance for you to improve yourself.
PL Precept #16 All things progress and develop. Todo progresa y evoluciona
Time was when this was bright and new.
when new it would not have held the same fascination as it does now
While no longer as it was, this fence still stands firmly locked in place. Its purpose has not changed with age. I have loved this place for years, finally the other day, I pulled over and visited.
I suspect it was provincially owned, I have never been there before, yet when I walked around to the back, I felt at peace, the traffic noises drifted away, the moment was pure zen.
This is my idea of a secret garden. =^_^= Find your peace today.
Reminder tomorrow’s Ancestor’s day service is at 10:a.m. Tuesday, June 11.
Working and living =^_^= go together – living in the NOW means you are interacting and being present all day, whether it is work or play, you are involved. by putting your best into all you do, the experience is uniquely yours. What ever you do today, enjoy it. Yes, really… do your best.
PL calendar day 4 – Follow your heart while also thinking about the happiness of others.
Junho 4, Pense em felicitar a si e aos outros, sendo honesto consigo.
What to do, they all can’t come home with me. If you are an avid landscaper, flowers, trees and shrubs, you know, how cute and lovely they are when you bring them home, they will grow and spread out. There has to be an awareness of the long range “presentation” or you will be in for a rude awakening when they grow up if you have not allowed for their maturing.
Same applies in life with anything that you bring home that has life of its own. It lives, breathes and develops, just like you do. Even under the same skies, latitude and longitude, nothing will be seen or experienced the same way. Life is multi dimensional, the only constant is change.
Accept, Appreciate, all that is in your life. today is NOW, worrying about yesterday or tomorrow, takes away from NOW.
PL precept #18 each moment is a turning point
My mind still talks to you
my heart still looks for you
My soul knows you are at peace
I thank God for having had you
but I still miss you so much!
My niece knew yesterday that I was in having a difficult time… she sent me this quote she found on all-great quotes.com. I saw it only this morning. and yes, the above is all so true.
Ancestors day is celebrated on the 11th of every month in PL Today is the 11th. Service is at 10 a.m.
PL calendar day 11 – Remember to be thankful and humble. Appreciate the Makoto (sincerity) of the people who came before you.
But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love. Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls Khalil Gibran

PL calendar day 10
When you are not having fun, could it be because you re being lazy? Sometimes you feel blue or can’t seem to find the joy in doing anything. At times like this, just get up and move your body or work your mind to the fullest extent.
If sadness and lack of hope knock I your heart – try to do something positive for someone else.
Example isn’t another way to teach it is the only way to teach – Albert Einstein

Day 8 of the PL calendar
First accept Everything
Life is filled with moments, sometimes happy and at times inconvenient. It is important to first accept every situation as it occurs and try to accept and understand it for what it is.
Bom dia!! Greetings on another bright sunny morning. Mid week already, where doe the time go.
It was fantastic day yesterday to travel the roads, the trees along the highway are starting to bud, I could feel the anticipation in every direction. The water levels were still very high as we approached the West Island (heading into Montreal). We observed that the water was still half way up the trees that would usually be above the water line on dry land.
Please take time to remember that tho’ the weather is currently dry, there are thousands who have suffered severe water damage over the last weeks, and need our prayers. Not just a few, but many people have lost year of memories and accumulated treasures, and are finding themselves in a place of sadness with weeks and months of rebuilding and hard work just to regain a sense of “normal”
