PL Precept #1 Life is Art

A place for eternal peace/rest

Why do some plants do well and others “just survive” – same question applied to other situations… do you find yourself asking yourself “why” some thing bothers you one day, and not the next?
The cats thinks we should just eliminate the word “why” from our vocabulary. To Quincy and Quinn… life simply IS… they deal with it. I’m learning.
I woke and thought today was tomorrow and planned accordingly, only to realize that today is not tomorrow – so I adjusted.
How is your day going?
Thus my post on FB earlier..

Today is the 8th day of the 8 th. month,
An astrological and numerological alignment symbolizing infinite abundance power, and new beginnings. (Lion’s Gate Portal)
It is now 8 a.m. on the 8th day of the 8th month. In Numerology 888 .. infinity symbol..dates like August 8th. compound this energy of balance, success and infinite potential.
In Biblical symbolism 8 represents a fresh start, resurrection and new beginnings.
So………………. I’m thinking……………… this is going to be a great day!

Young or old, we should never stop moving, sharing, laughing, exploring, discovering and expressing our individuality. Life is to be lived.
Don’t let someone else, or some”thing” , rain on your parade.
PL Precept # 5 One’s self is lost by being emotional.

PL Precept #18 Each moment is a turning point

Some days are better than others. However, every day you are part of is a special day. Welcome each new day, there are opportunities around every corner. We need only be open to the “adventure”
Whether you are staying close to home or going on an errand, the world around you is forever changing. No two days are alike.

No matter the venue, the music will still wrap itself around you and whisk you away on a musical odyssey. Seasons come and go… life keeps happening… so why not enjoy it.

PL Precept #7 Everything exists in relativity
Music is everywhere, find what you enjoy… make time for YOU.

Persevere you will see the results
Let’s do our best to see things through until the very end. By consistently making effort, the results will come before you know it.

Try putting yourself in the other person’s shoes
Put aside your own convenience for a moment and think about what would make the other person happy, or what would best serve their needs.
PL Precept #10 Love yourself and others.

Mother Nature, no one does natural beauty like the gifts nature offers us … we need only look around. Attended the summer Gneiss Guy crystal, mineral and fossil show/sale… to be completely surrounded by minerals and nature’s gifts.. to touch and experience the energy from the crystals and earth treasures from all over the world was energizing.
I drove down to Montreal in the morning, was back mid afternoon. The drive was full of quiet reflection, skies were blue, clouds were white and puffy…. There is something very humbling about being able to hold and experience a mineral that came from half way around the world, dug out of the bowels of the earth and handled by many hands before arriving where I could hold and take in its unique composition.
The fossils are even more intriguing. I was there very early .. doors opened at 9 yet, when I got there shortly before 10… vendors were already leaving boxes of inventory for their shops/boutiques. There was a lot of crystal, but after years of collecting, I am more selective wanting pieces now for my personal “stash”… since I not longer create one of a kind sculptures and jewelry… I can just satisfy my personal need to feed my “pleasure” chest.
I bought/adopted pieces that made me smile and drew me in with charm and delightful designs all completely presented from the earth itself. I did indulge in a few carved birds (yes from the minerals ) there are some amazing artists and creators out there.
I am filled with gratitude for the time and efforts of the artisans, “rock ” hunters, craftsmen, and entrepreneurs who bring these treasures where I can enjoy them.
