gratitude

Be thankful at the beginning and end of each day. Each and everyone of your actions can inspire peace within your family, your community and the world around you. This peace will eventually help lead to world peace.

Thanksgiving service is at 7 PM. this evening 21st. If unable to attend, please take a moment at that time, to say “thank you” for all the blessings in your life.

Kanwaza

Kanwaza in Perfect Liberty, is an “act of God” when we find ourselves dealing with a situation that is/was totally unexpected.

In my case a blow out on a wet windy day on a week-end, when the service centre of the dealership I deal with and most other automotive places are closed.

As it turned out I found myself in front of Nickys Auto Sales, when I finally got my car to a stop, off the busy road. The place was closed, but in the back I saw that one of the bay doors was open and a man was washing a car.

outstanding customer service and attention to detail!

Needless to say I was blessed… The man was amazingly helpful and friendly, he not only got me back on the road safely he did everything he could to make sure I was at ease, and that I understood what and why he was doing something. there was no tire available, he could not fix the tire I had, it was totally busted. I was at the dealers this morning (top pictures) at seven a.m. this morning.

Good news. my tire is under warranty, one has been ordered, and the dealer will fix it for me as soon as it comes in.

In PL we live with appreciation in our hearts, and do our best to learn from the “experiences” that come our way. Yes I had a traumatic reaction (flashbacks to the accidents I had not that long ago), but I was also favoured with the positive experiences of the people, strangers, friends, who came to my aid.

New encounters can help you change. Be up for anything even if it out of your comfort zone. This is a chance for you to improve yourself as a human being.

PL day 24

PL day 24 of Perfect Liberty calendar

Things that happen to us all have a meaning

Everything that happens to us happens for a reason.  Each and every occurrence is a chance for you to improve yourself.

Abstract art – Keeping it together.  Life happens, like the seasons, one day flows seamlessly into another, it happens.  The weather, the time of day, they just happen. Meanwhile, we (life) progress through theses changes, sailing through, at times limping, whatever, we all manage.  We do the best we can, with what we have.

Living the PL “way” means we appreciate and give thanks for all the blessings in our lives, and for the opportunities and lessons along the way.

Keep it simple, keep it real.  PL Precept #1  Life is art

Bom dia, What a day it has been.  Problems with my e-mail have been giving me problems for the last couple of days.  After three attempts with the provider to determine why the e-mail was not coming in. and 48 hours later, they try to sell me a plan (  until then it had never been mentioned).  It would only cost me six dollars a month, and they would watch over my PC and mail (they are the provider)  Needless to say I was not a willing player of that game.  When I asked to speak to a Supervisor I was told, there was no Supervisor, they were in a meeting.  A Manager then, no sorry no Manager,  Seems manager and supervisor were one and the same.

PL Precept #4 Being annoyed limits your expression.

PL Precept # 2 To live is to express one’s self

I did get annoyed and I did express myself.

PL Precept #5  One’s self is lost by being emotional

My day started with my leaving home without my phone.  Then discovering, that I couldn’t find my phone at all.  Since I was/ am waiting for the insurance people to get back to me about the car, let us just say, it wasn’t a banner start to the day.

3 – 4 – shut the door

It is almost 8, I can close off and shut down, call it  day.  Tomorrow is another day. I am sorry I missed getting on earlier today, I hope you all had a very productive day

Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

Any one know the rest of this little ditty.

5 – 6  Pick up ??

It is all good, my son called concerned about my phone, that was a big “happy” for me.  and Leon my bbf  (wonderful caring dog) was happy to see me, content to snuggle and cozy up.  What more can a gal ask for. =^_^=

Always count your blessings come end of day.  (yes phone found)

meaning – loss

2015b

What??  I don’t know, back in 2015 I saw this photo and was intrigued at what it was, what it meant, where it came from.  If I found out, I didn’t record it, so in my files this is what I found, now Feb. 24. 2019

Doing a tidy up, I found a card a group of friends sent me when my husband passed away, “on the loss of your husband”  Store bought, from the American Greeting co. in the States, I reread the message.

“They say life goes on just give yourself time to mourn, and accept and to heal,  Though none of that offers much comfort right now with the sorrow and loss you must feel…  but, there in your heart where you miss him the most where friendship and love never cease, somehow you know that he’d  want nothing more than to see you find comfort and peace”

As I digested the words of sympathy my friends had sent me, my eyes fell on today’s PL calendar, for day 24

Things that happen to us all have a meaning

Everything that happens to us happens for a reason.  Each and every occurrence is a chance for you to improve yourself.

It is with gratitude that I start my day, and appreciation for you my friends who keep in touch, drop in,  the distance, the miles, time zones, disappear, when I say I appreciate each and every one of you.  I do.  My heart sings with joy when you say hi…  the like button, the thoughtful hellos, and cheerful input,  the nudge now and then, all blessings.

“I have walked that long road to freedom.  I have tried not to falter; I have made missteps along the way.  But I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. ” Nelson Mandela

Happy Chinese New Year!

PL Calendar day 5   Start by thinking “this is interesting!”

Even when you are dealing with a difficult situation, it is important to find something interesting about it.  From there you will be blessed with wisdom and something new will come out of it.

“True Religion is real living, living with all one’s soul, with all one’s goodness an righteousness”  Albert Einstein

It is very quiet all around me when there is a deep blanket of snow around every inch of ground that surrounds my home.  The emergency vehicles are quiet this morning, the main roads and streets must be decent. Commuters who have deadlines must be either there or almost at their destinations..  The quiet of the moment is refreshing.  Yesterday I had a sick day, my body dictated that the end of the lunar year should be one of contemplation and rest.  I listened.

Today is a new beginning.  In PL, Precept #1   Life is Art,  I really and truly believe this, each day is a new canvas, where the possibilities are endless.  For you my precious and delightful friends, readers and “family”  may the Universe enrich your lives with the delight of new adventure, successful results and endless opportunities for your dreams/ wishes.  And, the blessing of wisdom in the knowledge that love is with you, now and always.

meditation/prayer

hwy to alfred7

Stay awhile, simply stand, sit, wait, till the sounds around you, are the only thoughts you hear.  Feel the breeze, take in the smells, you will feel you body start to relax.

hwy to alfred8Walk slowly, for now, in this moment,  you have no other place to be. SAy these words quietly to yourself, right now.  Then close your eyes, take a deep breath, feeling your lungs expand    smile    then slowly open your eyes.   Ahhhh how easy was that.

Go in peace my friend.  You are loved.

Friday greetings..

Miss Piggy tea pot VV

Miss Piggy waves hello.. a cheerful pot of tea, she is dropping in to wish you well,   We have a bright sunny day here, milder temperatures too.  I think I heard thunder rolling across the winter night sky in the early morning hours.  Warmer air, passing over and pushing down on the colder air below.

Works for me.  What ever you are doing, where ever you are going.. May the rays of positive energy bless your day today !!

Oyashikiri

You are loved, today and everyday!

and no, Miss Piggy did not follow me home.

Zen Friday

be thankful

This little flag was brought back a year ago, it was to fly happily at the church reminding one and all, that we should be thankful at all times.  Somehow, it just never got put up, and it was  only discovered recently again, when I picked up several boxes of goodies I had to be recycled to the House of Lazarus, Community Outreach Mission, in Mountain, Ontario. *

Seeing it again, was uplifting and reminded me that I do have so much to be thankful for.  I kept it, and it hangs where I can see it everyday.  Actually it sits where both my husband and I can see it and rejoice at the blessing we have been given.  An illness is an opportunity to revisit  the purpose of life, and why we are here.

A reminder not to squander your days and nights doing things you don’t enjoy, or with people who are possibly toxic in your world.  Rather than peace, love and caring, they can only offer, negatives.  They project hate, greed and selfishness.

This is the Canadian Thanksgiving week-end.  Families will gather, with friends and family to share the bounty in their lives.

Be sincere, be honest love with an open heart.
