The turning point is now. Life is a sequence of moments called now. You have the key to turn yourself around.

Seasons come and go. We accept that, especially when you live in a country like Canada with four seasons, we get to see the end of winter, when the fields are dormant and still waiting for the sun to warm the earth so that new growth will begin … then spring when everything has changed into a world of greens and colour as the early bloomers peak out into the sunshine. Summer is again a different look, you wouldn’t even see the much of the ground because there is growth everywhere. Fall begins when the vibrant reds, orange, and yellows start to paint the landscape with the the cornucopia of autumn colours that blend in against the various greens that are sported by the evergreens.

There is also a different reality,…… the seasons that life takes us through….. from youth, to middle age to maturity…. the seasons vary from individuals, in my case, I seem to have gone from one to the other without much thought. Everyday is LIFE. That said, suddenly one day I realized that my head space was still in one season, but my physical abilities had undergone a serious “time change” What happened?

The wonders of LIFE.

Have a good day everyone,

Be mindful with prayer. If you work on things with a prayerful heart, there will be many things you can be taught.

Prayer/meditation/mindfulness/silence – Be One with Nature

and then

Bom dia.. Good morning.. and then… another day began.. that means another night of sleep had come and gone.

Do you ever wonder where you go when you sleep? Has it ever occurred to you that your body when it’s tired simply wants to shut down… When it feels rested it will (on it’s own) wake up.. We take our bodies for granted, our heart pumping, our digestive system chugging away processing the “stuff” we ingest.. Our brains try to put order into all the information we take in during our waking hours. All this happens and we take it for granted (most of the time).

It is when something happens that we sit up and take notice. Should we be doing something different, should we me more attentive to the inner workings of our bodies? Not just deal with things when there is a hiccup in our system, or we have an accident.

I found myself trying to go to sleep. Earlier I had been yawning and very tired, but I had other things on my mind and I didn’t listen to the messages the body was sending me. Then of course, I had to wait for the body to want to sleep again. Sigh. I tried listening to music, that wasn’t working, my mind didn’t want to hear the same old, same old…. and when I looked for something different.. I heard a little voice say…. be quiet.. just let me be.’

I remembered yesterday’s prompt, and my response about Silence, I was guilty of having a noisy mind myself… keeping “busy”. I turned everything off,… wow.. silence… and then,….

Smiles.. sleep came.. and now its morning again! Good Morning!

Today’s calendar..

Make today a “give back day” We can live our daily lives owning to our ancestors, our elders and the work of our predecessors. Above all, kindness to others is the best way to give back.

‘THANK YOU” again and again. It feels great if someone says Thank YOU, to you, even many times. By repeating this, become a person who comes up with the words “Thank You” naturally.

8.7 Monday

There are days when we simply don’t want to face the world, sunshine or not. We want or need time to rest, to invest in our selves. It is all part of the “maturing” process. Take life as it comes, in little steps.

“Give importance to listening, looking, thinking, doing and speaking. Look and listen carefully before making a judgement. Assumptions and hasty conclusions can lead to misunderstandings.

LIFE IS ART ..LIVE THE PL WAY

Strive to be happy … live with a willingness to share and bring happiness to others.

changes

This is how I feel right now. Old but still standing… debris all around and feeling a tad “useless’ have spent the last many hours trying to figure out how to use this new laptop, find where things are, the biggest headache was changing the keyboard to good old English. Something I took for granted with my other PCs, tablets etc. This brand new laptop comes with a bilingual keyboard, it just never occurred to me that it would want to type in French. Sigh. a learning curve it will be.

Don’t give up! Keep at it until you accomplish what you’ve started. The key to achieving something is to stick to it. If you are able to finish, you will be sure to accomplish it no matter how difficult the task is.

April 11.

It is all about the ice, the ice … it is all about the ice, the ice.

It can be so decorative, so beautiful, just a pain to drive or try to walk on.

You ever wondered .. or asked yourself… how come you can never see your head, (only through a mirror)? or how you look from the back when you are walking away.?

The past leads to now and now leads to the future. Life is an accumulation of moments … cherish each one.

Sunday 29th.

Heavy snow made it hard to see much, I basically decided it would be best to not attempt too much driving. When I left snow was falling lightly, but by the time I was back where the crows were, it was falling heavily.. temperatures were such that ice formed on the windshield blades.. and crusted on the windows making it hard to see.. the wipers left big crushed ice arcs just where I needed to see the road ahead. I had my Nikon today, didn’t do me much good tho’ you can see the snow was falling so heavily it was like trying to get their picture through a shower curtain of wet sticky snow.

The crows on my second visit waiting patiently for me to get out of their way.. they saw where the food landed, circled the area, but waited.

I did get pictures of the grosbeaks but… they were too blurred or distorted… I erased them. There was a whole host of the smaller birds (finch) that look like smaller evening grosbeaks today, they were all over the area grabbing up what they could. In fact, at both P23 and P22 it was the smaller birds that took over the diners.. they simply dived down and began to clean up. The doves and the squirrels stayed out of their way. It was interesting. The pesky little squirrels stayed clear of where the ground feeders were.

A couple of the little red squirrels are no longer really afraid of me, in fact, they like to tease me… waiting till I’m almost at them.. then lifting their little chins and giving me a little chirp before moving away only to wait for me to move on.. their little eyes watching me.. I swear sometimes I think they giggle.

The roads are messy, if you are tempted to go out… be careful.
