Wow!

Enjoy these last days of summer, last night I heard a Halloweens tune at a concert I was at. Already there are signs the leaves are starting to change in places. This morning temperatures are more seasonal, in the 50’s.. Oh Oh OH OH pumpkins and goblins will soon be the theme of the day. You all know me, maybe I’ll find another crow for my indoor decor… LOL.. I can see some cringing happening out there… no I guess the turkey vulture I got last year that sits on the top of my cabinet in the living room looking down on guests can hold center stage for now..

I must say I find it truly amazing how newcomers to my “welcome room” are very discreet as they take in the eyes boring down on them. I tell you honestly, none comment, although, I note they don’t look up often. Will I ever grow up and out of this silly quirk of mine, likely not…Like a good wine, I’ll improve with “age” ..

Everyone has their own way of seeing and thinking. There are different points of view and ways of thinking which makes it interesting and creates new ideas. Try to enjoy others’ expressions.

I was asked the other day,” how does one pray, what do you mean by pray”…. that is a very difficult question to answer in one sentence .. and it can’t be the same answer for everyone. Prayer is a very personal expression/action… we all are different in how we approach life and our way of dealing with life’s opportunities. I see prayer as a way of connecting with my inner SELF. and for ME… I believe that I am ONE with the Universe… so being in the moment, and taking time to sit quietly and BE in the moment with Makoto (sincerity) in my intent… some call it meditation… Prayer and Meditation are words.. it is the act of Being ONE with your inner Self.

Time. How one person’s cast away becomes a piece of art for someone else. I was taken with this bike, but at this time of my life, I am not collecting, I am decluttering .. If you use Facebook, you probably get their incoming mail .. wanting you to see or remember what you have posted in the past. I do use Facebook to connect with friends overseas .. but I am not a FB regular. That said, the other day, I got a message asking me if I wanted to see .. pictures I had taken over the past year(s).. they titled it Woods. Choo choo train

The little train that could, would and will delight you if you are visiting Brockville. It was a beautiful day, there were people out enjoying the day.. all along the water’s edge.. families and tourists mingled in the sunshine. It was nice to see people out taking time to explore. Lots of dogs being walked, even a musician playing the sax outside the main attraction which was the old railway tunnel, now a tourist attraction.

There was a lot to do and see in Brockville whether it is an outdoor adventure .. scuba diving, kayaking, or a sight seeing tour of the 1000 Islands on the St. Lawrence in a traditional sightseeing cruise or a high speed soft adventure aboard a wildcat. There is something for everyone. We didn’t visit the Aquatarium, but I think Bonnie put it on her list of possible attractions for another visit.

One attraction that I would have loved to try was the Forest Adventure.. TreeTop Trekking -Thousand Islands-.. if you want to know more visit TREETOPTREKKING.COM. You all know I won’t be trying that soon, but a gal can dream =^_^=

If you are going to do it, do it joyfully. If you have to do something, choose to do it with joy and enthusiasm. By doing so, you will experience a deeper sense of beauty.

Note to myself.. remember .. it feels good to snuggle into bed at the end of a busy day. Satisfied with the work I got done and the interactions I had with people I met and visited with during the day.
