Some times I am just too cute for words! =^_^=
Day 2 PL Calendar – Be forever Young and Seek New Challenges
The world is constantly in motion and never rests. Keep your senses sharp and be ready to adapt to the every changing world.
I so truly believe in these words. One of the reasons I enjoy Second Life so much (virtual world) click here is the opportunities it gives me to express my artistic self, as well, as be anyone, or any “creature” I want. The creative opportunities are endless.
Every day, we live our lives usually dealing with the immediate needs that come our way. To keep our senses sharp and be ready to adapt, we have to be willing to “let go” of old habits, and to allow new ideas and expressions to colour our world.
Little steps. One day at a time.
In the PL community there is always someone to listen. Someone to “help” .. someone to “listen”
rust on canvas
abstract, acrylic, paste, recycled canvas, mega art stones, paint roller, textured Catalyst brushes by Princeton, layering, natural dry,
rust products by Art extra vagance, (Finnabair) made in Hungary
mega art stones -Finnabairn (art ingredients)
In the past I have used sludge from DeSerres (Tri Art) I spilled my last jar and have yet to replace it, so the above was done using alternate products found in my inventory.
To achieve a result, often requires more than one product, and when one ingredient is not available, if we are determined to get the result we are hoping for, we explore what is available, or easy access, and we experiment. It doesn’t matter if we succeed exactly as we had wanted what matters is that we do our best .. and try.
*** and *** that you are happy and cheerful while you are creating. Happiness is a state of mind. It is the journey that counts. When we are not open to every possibility around us at any given time, it could be a missed opportunity.
Seize the day, make it yours. Have a great start to a brand new week. Each day is a new canvas…Play, Explore, Live, take the initiative, be the first to smile and say hello.
Fabric art, continued.

Please note that the cost has been made the same all across North America. $3.00
Day of Peace ceremony will be November 1.st. 10 a.m
Let us take today’s lesson, Express Yourself Cheerfully, as a thought to carry forward into the whole week.
Remember as we begin a new week, that our relationships and the situations around us, reflect our own hearts and actions, like a mirror. When we change our surroundings, it will bring about changes for us personally too.
Happy week ahead.

Sometimes, you decide to cut out a hexagon. You have an idea. But before you can really get carried away, your creative self goes to work… and yes, you do hexagons, but this is what you end up with.
There is another step or two that followed, but the picture may or may not be completed, so… I leave you with the above. I wanted fall colours, and I’ve done a flower. We will have to wait to see what comes next.
Sometimes, we have to know when to stop, take a step back, and wait.
Happy week-end everyone!
Pepsi needed a skirt, shorts, or jeans, I couldn’t find anything suitable, so we painted a pair of bloomers for her. I think that she looks pretty “neat”. Next I will dig up a pair of shoes for her feet.
Life is Art (Precept #1)
PL Precept #2 To live is to express One’s self.
This was fun. How was your day? Have a good start to a new week.
