Good morning all, I used this picture yesterday it is how the Parks and Services composts vegetation they clear in their forest.

Often we just take for granted that our park lands, forests our there for us to enjoy and explore. The big pile left to compost over winter and into next season, reminded me of all the workers that we don’t see during the weeks and months that keep the trails free and open for us to use, 4 seasons of the year.
It is important to say thank you, and appreciate those that work behind the scenes, men and women who we don’t get to see, but work doing things that we get to appreciate every day. Last night JR (company here in Ottawa) had drivers out clearing lane ways that were hard to clear due to the heaviness of the snow and ice. built up over the last couple of days. It is a service I pay for. Yet it was not really an amount of snow that they usually come out and do. This was an accumulation over several days.
When I heard the plow in the lane way I was truly grateful and happy. By the time I got myself organized to run out and say thank you.. the plow was at the end of the street moving to the next customer on the street. That gratitude was so heartfelt. I had tried to move the snow, and it was hard, I had given up, and come inside. This was earlier in the day, to get to church I drove over the hard crusted snow. I so dislike car tracks in the snow/ice that leave ruts over time.
I will make time today, to call the company and say thank you. Appreciation feels good, and I want to pass it on. You?

Many people in our community write FB posts on the community page after storms to thank the plow drivers. It’s a nice idea because they just breeze on by our homes.

A good, thoughtful, post
good morning, just came from visiting your page.. =^_^= hope all is well on your side of the pond.
Thanks – we are OK
Our service workers do deserve our thanks, as my spouse says, “It’s a thankless job.”
yes, thus the effort to show appreciation ;when we can.. waves hello across the miles
