you are invited to join me

I am having a special party, and YOU are invited..I will be off on my broom

on the actual day of the new moon

I’ve been planning the menu for weeks

ohhhh it will be a special feast

long forgotten friends have been sought out

so you will not need to fret

help will be on hand

to welcome you in

walk up to the front door

don’t be shy, come right on in

I did do my best to get to all the rooms

but, perhaps, you shouldn’t wander too far

from the main rooms

yes on second thought

youy may want to refrain from opening closed doors

feel free to use the spa

should you need a quick fix

dinner will be served around six

I’ll do my best to sit with you

although it could get complex

I might need some time to dress

ignore the baby should he scream

after all, this is only a dream

see you on my return…. have fun, enjoy everyday!

down the road

how many times have I driven down a country road

windows down, taking in the fresh clean air on a fall day

some years past, I even road a Honda Gold Wing

and experienced the countryside in a brand new way

no matter the method of travel

the experience was always the same

I longed to explore down the unpaved roads

towards the farms and small hamlets

we discovered along the way.

sometimes I did, but often, the lure of what was around the bend

kept us on the secondary highways…, and soon that barely visible lane,

was but a memory.

Before it’s too late, and the snow has covered up the trails

I’d like to go and explore, to rediscover

the smell of freshly turned earth, hay being harvested

even the spreading of manure.

Not all the leaves are on the ground yet,

there is still a myriad of colour

for the artist to discover

best of all, the trees will be showing their form

their bark, their broken torn or twisted limbs

sculptures like no other. no longer

will their dramatic shapes be hidden or concealed

by their cover of showy summer foliage.

when we cross the bridge, should we turn left or right

let’s take the road, that has no end in sight

this is our moment, our time

let us make it sublime

Enchanted castle, mysterious, magical

To be an elf, or fairy, that I could play and dance

through all the many rooms.

Lie and listen to the crystal waters

dancing and whispering

as they weave through the rocks and moss.

What a dream to weave this Friday

Come play with me

We will explore and discover

what lies in the long forgotten rooms

We will laugh and giggle

oh what fun,

we’ll mingle with the birds and animals

that play in the world around us

not a single moment will we squander

I’ll have to go back and take another picture now that the snow is all gone. The grass is green and the flowers have begun to bloom. Although this shows the building itself, the welcoming entrance. The love and community in this building gives it a life of its own, always one feels welcome when visiting the church of Perfect Liberty.

I’ve been silent for some time now. No one reason, just that I’ve been busy living day to day, moment to moment. When one focuses on “Being in the Moment” days are full, satisfying and rewarding. I have written a number of introductions to PL for a magazine we have here in Ottawa called Tone. It is my hope that in so doing, there will be others who read the words and thoughts and want to come and explore what PL is all about..

“PL’s teachings are practical and common sense. They are the sort of things you will read in positive thinking and self help books, or hear in motivational speeches. The difference is that the members are assisted in practicing them in everyday life through discussions,consultations and prayer” borrowed from my article in the May issue. =^_^=

I have found that committing myself to being a member of the church has made a difference in my life. I was happy before, now I’m even happier. Oshieoya-sama has said that PL can help unhappy people become happy and happy people become even happier. I believe. The website for the Church of Perfect Liberty in Ottawa is http://www.perfectliberty.ca There are PL churches in parts of the States and in Canada. The Motherland is in Japan, with a second Mother land in Brazil.

Those of you who follow my travels and ramblings know that I am a member of the Second Life community and have spent many years enjoying various communities within SL. I’ve especially enjoyed building, traveling and exploring the virtual world. Most recently blogging for the fashionista and divas in SL on Fashion, Lifestyles etc. with my blog http://longdashstudio.blogspot.com

Now, Q ( Qyhat Harbour) who has spent the last many years as a Tiny is going to open up her home to those wanting to know more about the Church of Perfect Liberty. I so believe that the teachings of Perfect Liberty can make profound changes in a person’s life.I want to share with anyone who wants to learn. Virtual world is a beginning, once one has been introduced to the simplicity of its teachings and is ready to move on, there are churches and groups for them to meet and explore in RL.
