Time. How one person’s cast away becomes a piece of art for someone else. I was taken with this bike, but at this time of my life, I am not collecting, I am decluttering .. If you use Facebook, you probably get their incoming mail .. wanting you to see or remember what you have posted in the past. I do use Facebook to connect with friends overseas .. but I am not a FB regular. That said, the other day, I got a message asking me if I wanted to see .. pictures I had taken over the past year(s).. they titled it Woods. The little train that could, would and will delight you if you are visiting Brockville. It was a beautiful day, there were people out enjoying the day.. all along the water’s edge.. families and tourists mingled in the sunshine. It was nice to see people out taking time to explore. Lots of dogs being walked, even a musician playing the sax outside the main attraction which was the old railway tunnel, now a tourist attraction.
There was a lot to do and see in Brockville whether it is an outdoor adventure .. scuba diving, kayaking, or a sight seeing tour of the 1000 Islands on the St. Lawrence in a traditional sightseeing cruise or a high speed soft adventure aboard a wildcat. There is something for everyone. We didn’t visit the Aquatarium, but I think Bonnie put it on her list of possible attractions for another visit.
One attraction that I would have loved to try was the Forest Adventure.. TreeTop Trekking -Thousand Islands-.. if you want to know more visit TREETOPTREKKING.COM. You all know I won’t be trying that soon, but a gal can dream =^_^=
If you are going to do it, do it joyfully. If you have to do something, choose to do it with joy and enthusiasm. By doing so, you will experience a deeper sense of beauty.

Note to myself.. remember .. it feels good to snuggle into bed at the end of a busy day. Satisfied with the work I got done and the interactions I had with people I met and visited with during the day. Seasons come and go. We accept that, especially when you live in a country like Canada with four seasons, we get to see the end of winter, when the fields are dormant and still waiting for the sun to warm the earth so that new growth will begin … then spring when everything has changed into a world of greens and colour as the early bloomers peak out into the sunshine. Summer is again a different look, you wouldn’t even see the much of the ground because there is growth everywhere. Fall begins when the vibrant reds, orange, and yellows start to paint the landscape with the the cornucopia of autumn colours that blend in against the various greens that are sported by the evergreens.
There is also a different reality,…… the seasons that life takes us through….. from youth, to middle age to maturity…. the seasons vary from individuals, in my case, I seem to have gone from one to the other without much thought. Everyday is LIFE. That said, suddenly one day I realized that my head space was still in one season, but my physical abilities had undergone a serious “time change” What happened?
The wonders of LIFE.
