A fine WordPress.com site

Facebook has a habit of popping the past at you.  This morning, I found this on my FB page.  I wondered what on earth !! then I read the notation at the bottom, they had provided that too.

Do you recall what you did 6 years ago?  And the next question, Do you really want to know?

Curious, that’s all.

Personally I care more about what I’m doing now and how I live now, PL Precept # 16  All things progress and Develop.  Every moment counts, I love the experience of living.  The past.. yes it was good at the time, but the reality is, I don’t even know where Mr. Spud is today, what happened to him. OH and the spuds, were they significant?  who knows, that was then, this is now.

Enjoy the day everyone!

It is full of such potential and possibilities

  1. No I don’t remember what I was doing 6 years ago. I keep a journal and have done so for over 30 years. I don’t refer back to it often, though I did review 2015 this January. I was feeling as if I hadn’t accomplished much last year and was surprised to see how much I did do, how much I did grow AND that everything I worried about came out just fine. Journaling is my way of getting the junk out of my system and documenting my life (for my eyes only!!)

  2. To me, it’s always good to recall back some memories. It is kind of cool to have that bit of surprise when you did something you don’t remember doing but the memory came back. When it comes to all my travels and adventures, it’s always good to look back.
But of course, there are memories I’d rather seal shut and never to return. 🙂

    • I’ve seen pictures of your travels, they would bring a smile to me too. Have a good day =^_^= thanks for the smile
