Emotions, a vast array of feelings, that come and go endlessly in the various corners of our minds. Some are overwhelming, some very specific, and others, specific to a moment in time, place or person .. a memory, a silent tear, the warmth of a smile, a love shared.
Today with social distancing, many are experiencing a tremendous overload of emotions that come unsuspectingly to the forefront of our days/nights. Not so easy now to just push aside by picking a distraction to occupy the mind till the moment passes.

That sculpture is breath-taking, what’s it called and where is it?
I’ll have to try and find the info. It was done by a parent who had lost his child, and had no words to express how he felt.. so he did the sculpture. I’ve had it for a long time.. will look.
I’m afraid i didn’t find much.. the statue is called Emptiness. created by a grieving parent in an attempt at describing how a parent feels after losing a child. May have found it on Pinterest
Indeed I found the same, the original is in Geneva Switzerland but there a few copies. A truly remarkable piece of art
What a lovely and bleak piece of sculpture: looking at the emptiness within yourself.
beautifully put… thank you..
I’ve lost 2 granddaughters and have felt that anguish. Lovely and disturbing at the same time.
