It is only “now” in this lifetime of mine that I have discovered the true meaning and happiness of contentment – I also now know that it would have been impossible to know this contentment* before, because I wasn’t ready. I would not have lived the life I have, or experienced all the adventures/challenges/opportunities that have made me the “person” I am today.
