public bathrooms - Japan- for children

I found this to be absolutely one of the best ideas for parents who are traveling with children. the cubicles are only so high, so the child has his privacy, but the parent can watch to see that he/she is safe and doing alright.

I loved the idea.  This is the little girl’s side.

Then there is this side for the young boys.

Really now isn’t that just ingenious?  Had I not been traveling through Japan with friends who knew the country, I would have missed a lot of the super fabulous sights that I got to see and take in.  Their toilets were an experience, mine at home, and what I see here now that I’m back home are so boring.  Bet you didn’t expect to be reading about toilets, however you must agree that this idea of having the child size bathrooms available in public areas, where time is almost always a factor in the getting to and from in a very busy train /transportation system is fab!

The Japanese call the rush hour tsukin jigoku or “commuter hell”...  Commuter trains – I read stats for  back in the the late 80’s.  The figure for the system  was something like 19 million passengers a day on 28,000 trains.  Old people, and parents with children in tow stay off the trains during the rush hour.  The shopping including restaurants are top notch in the stations where you enter, leave and transfer.  Can you tell I was most impressed.  The cleanliness will get me going on a whole new topic. =^_^=

Saying “Thank You” creates a heart to heart connection.  Every day I thank Rev. Goto and his family for including me in their trip  to Japan.  Yes I was going for Rensei training. but had I not been gently encouraged and supported to step outside my comfort zone, I would have missed the opportunity of a lifetime.  I listened to the “spirit within” and I am filled with a deep gratitude when a memory surfaces.  i.e. seeing the pictures of the children’s bathrooms.

Use Sunday to recharge, make time for yourself, if you can, attend church,  Kahlil Gibran said something like, “pray in times of distress and need, but also in the fullness of your joy and in days of abundance”

Affirm your faith, not your doubts!

In life, in art, in projects, we get what we put into the task.
Do you sometimes skip a step here and there, cuz you’re in a hurry, then wonder later why something didn’t turn out quite like you expected?
Do you plan the event to get the event over with? Or is there a purpose to that event?
Is there a goal in mind, are their expectations?

Put your heart into whatever you do. If you are going to do something, you mas as well do it with enthusiasm. You will gradually begin to see what makes it interesting, and perhaps exceed expectations.

Treat Today as if it is your First Time Around.
Just because you succeeded in the past, doesn’t guarantee that things will go as smoothly today.

Today is today, NOW

Love fills my heart for each and everyone of you.

A big thank you, to those of you who are so kind to write and/or give likes, I love hearing from you.
Yes I do have a Pinterest page- check Dymoon Canaille,

NOW.. tell me about you, how are you doing today?
Do you have a full day ahead of you, or in a different time zone, How has your day been so far?

In PL we believe GOD resides in your prayerful mind. When we make a heartfelt and continuous effort, The Universe responds to our Makoto (sincerity).

Have you ever read any of the works of Wayne W. Dyer?
He wrote “ While God represents the one power and does not recognize any other power, your mind is something quiet different. Your mind has both the power of evil and the power of good. As long as you use this power for the purpose of creating harmony in yourself and others you are consistent with the one Power of spirit. Spirit is the one unifying force in the Universe”

No effort is ever wasted. No matter how small your efforts, your Makoto will always be rewarded.

Smile dearest reader, really I ask you right this moment to smile with me, aaaahhhh a smile feels so good.  A nice wide smile, eyes closed. YES it just feels soooo darn good!  Your inner smile is ALWAYS with you. Use it.

Feel the love and joy being sent to you today. God/TAO resides in your prayerful Mind.
Now and Always. amen

A post I follow sent this quote out, it was the first mail I opened up this morning. I thought I would share it with you.

In PL, we try to always look at things that appear before us, or pop up and go !!:surprise!!, when we least expect it, with an “I can do it”  attitude. Granted it isn’t always easy, but if we approach the challenge with an “artistic eye” and conviction. We accomplish our goal.

Happy, prosperous day everyone! a gentle hug for those of you who hurt and are being challenged today, Remember, the spirit of Love is ever lasting, close your eyes take a deep breath, and feel the love we send out to you in our prayers EVERY DAY!         B L E S S I N G S

Accumulate Virtue and Pass It On

Today the 11th in PL we celebrate Ancestor’s day. Service today at 10 a.m. Through the ceremony we express our gratitude for the love and virtues of our ancestors. We ask for their protection and guidance so we can continue to live the PL WAY.

Accumulate Virtue and Pass It on to Your Future Generations. Always be thankful for the blessings you have received and pass those virtues on. Let’s pay our respects and give sincere thanks to those who came before us.

Blessings from the heart ..today and always

Enthusiasm Can lead to Opportunities

Chances don’t just fall into our laps. They come to us when we are putting our full effort into something.
From the moment you decide to do something. things begin to happen.

Accept life, that it might move through you with grace.

Our identities can become our prisons.

PL> We are all born into this world with one of a kind personality and Makoto (individuality and a unique character) given to us by God. In order to express yourself fully, it is important for you to live each moment of your life expressing your true self with Makoto. <

Feel the love of God wrap gently around you, know you are loved, always…

Blessings

photo- art that changes with the seasons – by Q  (it was created so that it would age with me!)

Sometimes I need to  listen to something different. Why? because I want to enjoy and appreciate the vocal styling, the emotions of the singer(s) and the music that haunts and weaves a musical thread through my dreams.

We all have our own preferences when it comes to music, when I need to refresh my “tuner” I use music that soothes and takes me out of my day to day..  -photo- needle felted bear sits in your hand – made by Q

Like music, we all have different ways of thinking and seeing the world. People have different thoughts and opinions, what ever differences you encounter today, I hope you will listen and take advantage of seeing /hearing a different perspective.

PL Principle #3  i will live with a mind of appreciation towards others and things.j

ditch the commercial, the clip is good, did you see the movie?  It puts a smile on your face.  Happy Day everyone!

Artist and Holidays

It is September right. If you are a craft person, or an artist, what are you doing right now? working on Halloween or Xmas? If like me your passion to create has you sewing, making, baking, pickling, sculpting, painting your studio/craft room has got to be one big jumble of on the go projects.
Some of my friends are very organized, I myself am a clutter pro, don’t touch my “mess” cuz I know where everything is. Sign at door should say, “enter at your own risk”.

Why am I telling you all this you ask? Because I know that many of you out there are my mirror image.. we tidy, get everything organized when we are in non productive mode.. but, once we start on our projects, there is no stopping us, time disappears, and the ideas are coming fast and furious.

If we stop to look around, we could get discouraged, however, **The key to success is to continue without giving up ** You need to continue and persevere to make your wishes and goals come true. Once you start something, see it through to the end.** this is a PL teaching that works for me every time. Sometimes I need to read it again, when I hit a lull, but by practicing PL every day, I get a lot more done.

I go to bed smiling and feel the smile in my sleep, Life is good.. and I’m here to share it with you. Creativity makes the world go round, when we accomplish something, we feel good, and our smiles work their magic for miles around us.

Smile, today is the start of a brand new day. Loving Blessings to you all!

Creativity and life

Life is Art – You’ll hear this from me a lot it is i the # 1 Precept in PL teachings.

I would like to introduce you to a very creative idea of an artist in SL (Second Life, a virtual world)  This artist has taken a concept and given it a virtual presence using tools graphics, sculpts,  prims and textures .  I do not know this artist, so have no way of telling you about his/her expertise, all I know is that I heard about the build and decided to have a look.

Art often reflects life, this artist in my  view, showed us a playful and fun perhaps a tad dramatized picture of a side of life, many of us will often walk past with a blind eye.  There is life outside our own realities, if we actually step inside another “world”  we might be amazed at what we see and the people we meet.

Today we will visit Sunny Haven Tiny Trailer Park, Haven Shire (189, 100, 21) -(co-ordinates for visiting it in SL)   Q was visiting friends in the Shire and having extra time decided to tour around, she had been away for awhile,  She was admiring the well manicured lawns, the unique and different styles of architecture on various estates, when she saw  a bright aqua colored sign beckoning from off in the distance.   Having heard her friends talking of the park and the market place there, she hurried on to wander and visit.

trailer park_005

She found the park to be totally not what she expected, yet its rustic and down to earth style and character led her to explore with a mind open to the creative possibilities of the artist”s or artists’ vision.  Was this one artist or a collaboration, she didn’t know but she was intrigued.   She found a good size pumpkin to sit on so she could look around and get her bearings.

trailer park_008

Oh my .. so much to see, so much had fallen into disrepair, yet the place was not neglected, rather it looked as if the residence had a lot of fun there.  Not that she would use the public washroom though! Eek!

trailer park_003

Inside the stalls were empty, and everything was rusted  The walls had a lot of graffiti on them, colorful, but certainly not to her taste.  She couldn’t help but wonder at how many people had come though to register and stay at the park when it was thriving.

trailer park_004

Nothing is ever what it seems when seen only from the exterior, (outside) Yes at first glance one could think the place deserted, but Q noticed that there was some litter but most of it was picked up and waiting to be tossed.

trailer park_002

There certainly is a story here, and Q was going to find it.  The Eviction Notice was on the building, yet she saw evidence of recent habitation.  Some of the produce looked pretty darn good.  Didn’t find any fresh eggs though.

trailer park_006

Time to tour the rest of the place maybe go check out the pink flamingo see if anyone was home there.  The only way to get to know more of the world you are in, is  to step outside your box and look around for something new and different to discover.

quinta-ferian todo mundo- Thursday hola!

Now this was exciting.  I’ve been to fireworks before, we are lucky that here in Canada’s capital area there is a big casino that hosts International firework competitions every summer. Countries come from all over the world to compete, the shows are mind boggling.

However dear readers, this humble picture taken with my smart phone was one of many I took trying to capture the thrill and excitement of being  right under  the captivating spell of a dazzling display of fireworks (in Japan) that lasted about 45 minutes. One magnificent show of colour and artistry after another. You really had to be there. (I have been promised pictures from other members who had cameras, video cams etc. I’ll share when they arrive)

That is pretty much what life is like isn’t it. We can be spectators to what is going on around us, or we can be participants. Pl encourages us to Challenge everything with enthusiasm
Get in there… be the star of your own moment….
You will be rewarded with joy and new encounters that will give long lasting happy memories.

Oh Boy! It’s Thursday.. wow where has the week gone..
Isn’t life a blast. (am I dating myself again!)  =^_^=

Double blessings.. why, because you deserve it.. life is good and you are part of it. I hold you all so dear in my heart.
