Hello door
how come you are so small
if I open you, where will I go
first you need to open me
only then will you see
if it is possible to enter within
well, I thought that isn’t so welcoming
still it was a pretty door,
I was intrigued
I bought the door and brought it home
now you are mine
I smiled and thought of when I would go inside
the door silently stared back at me
yes, I am yours it finally said
but just because you bought me
doesn’t mean that I will open up for you
hmm there was a message there
not so much in what was said
or was it……….. what was said
I had the door, the physical door was in fact mine
no doubt there, it sat on my desk as pretty as ever
Sometimes, it is not the door we want .. is it?
It is what is inside…. or what we “think” is beyond the door
Have you come across a door of late
where you are willing to wait
to see if you have the “key” to open the door
and go beyond the physical barrier
of a shut ” door”

Some doors are open
some are not
even when open
do you really want to go inside?

This is great! I like your door photo and I like your essay about it. Waiting to see if I have the key to many a door, I am.
Your post here makes me think of a prayer my Aunt and I said together for my Grandma and it was about doors, “May the doors that need to open, open and may the doors that need to shut, shut.” (The prayer was answered the very next day!) I think some door are better off left shut! The first door is so cute and second picture is amazing…I would be tempted to try and get in there lol. Love and hugs to you!
sending return hugs!!
That first one is cute, but I love the second one!
janet
imagine it is from an abandoned building in Scotland! Hi Janet!!
Intriguing shot at end of musings…
yes, I thought so… made me wonder why the place was abandoned…
The first one is cute but that last one is fantastic, not sure I’d like to go through it, though.
