Life is filled with a collection of memories A fellow blogger (Chris) https://milfordstreet.wordpress.com/2019/09/28/curtiss-p-40/?c=28448#comment-28448 is visiting a vintage aircraft show this week-end. To fellow lovers of such planes, visit his site. He has taken some great photos and will be there again today taking more.

Sometimes we get to share wonderful adventures with others. A well traveled road is a GREAT one. Sharing with a friend is such a blessing.

Enjoy the day! Oyashikiri

Identification ?

A friend captured this beauty, (on camera) but we do not know what it is. Does anyone out there recognize this little critter? She spied this while out camping, past Deep River, Ontario. (Canada)

Don’t blame others. It is easy to place the blame on others and society for the problems you encounter in the life. But you are the one with the power to change the outcome.

My sister and I went to lunch with a good friend along the St. Lawrence yesterday. The fall colours are beginning to appear. In some places they are brilliant in others they are still shy. How luck we are to live in a country where the four seasons are so distinctive and beautiful in what they offer.

Success

Have you ever wanted to roam free in the wilds of your country, province, or state? Some of us dare to follow our dreams, and take to the woodlands despite physical limitations, if there is a will, there is a way.

Success doesn’t just happen. It is not just by coincidence that things go well. The results are based on the hard work you have put in up until that moment. Remember to be thankful and use your current success to reach the next level.

Thursday doors

I can travel far and wide, no matter how many doors I meet, I enjoy them all. I enjoy the character of the older doors, I confess to finding them appealing to my imagination.

Put your whole heart into whatever you, no matter when, or where you are. Don’t try to cut corners or be careless about things. Be fully responsible completing whatever you set out to do.

joyful

There was a time, when we gathered with friends, and neighbours to create something “beautiful”. The afternoon and early evenings were the time when most could stop from their daily chores, to sit and visit. Before electricity became something available to most homes, women had to gather to share while the light of day was still present.

When we share with others, in a personal way that allows us to talk easily and work at something that we are all taking pleasure in, there is a quality fellowship that is born and grows with the passing of time.

Unexpectedly today I got to visit with two friends over a lovely meal, time seemed to pass so quickly as we caught up with each other, sharing what we had been doing since our last visit. We laughed easily as we shared the good and the frustrations of the past weeks. What a blessing to have reached this place of comfort in our friendships. Unconditional love, acceptance, respect, and genuine caring.

“If you are going to do it, do it joyfully. I you have to do something, choose to do it with joy and enthusiasm. By doing so, you will experience a deeper sense of beauty.”

Perfect Liberty day 23, 2014

Each new encounter with someone, is an opportunity for a friendship. Not everyone will harmonize with your “energy” but, when you find those who do, wow! what JOY.

take flight

take flight under the dark skies or stay and stand on guard

the winds blew, the sky started to clear

the bears danced in place, and we continued on

in Mother Nature’s sweet embrace

sharing in another wonderful day.

Each day is another new adventure. Step out and greet the day. When the heart is open, you will always be amazed at how awesome life on earth can be. With love and friendship by your side, a cloudy day, becomes amazing.

Another Saturday =^_^=

How many Saturdays can one have in a week. Obviously I can. When you are retired anything is possible.

Look at the marvelous day we had. The colour palette was subtle and vibrant at the same time. Truly amazing to be out in the majesty of the day.

Today being the 21st of the month we will be celebrating Thanksgiving with our PL service at 7 PM. Today’s calendar message..

Let’s be thankful for everything we have right now “Now” is an accumulation of every moment leading up to it, and everything that continues to progress and develop to become”now”. Be Thankful for everything.

Oyashikiri

Please take a moment in silent prayer today for loved ones who have done their time on earth, and are now going “home”…. Thank you.

introduction cards

Remember when the calling card was the way we introduced ourselves to people we met. Especially when making our way in the business world, your calling card was a way of saying, hi, this is who I am.

Tonight, I have been cleaning out again, this led me to opening a box that had an old card holder in it. Wow, each and every card held a memory or story of an encounter made years ago. Some contacts, I remember very clearly, and others not so much, yet each were part of that particular phase of my adventure here on earth.

While working I took advantage of my home time to listen to old gospel songs, by Ernie Haase & signature Sound https://youtu.be/cqTPok10HqQ

The bass singer Tim Duncan was an amazing singer. The quartet was always upbeat and made music in a way that to me was toe tapping and joyful. They made their performances so “fun”, to do that they had to apply a dedicated talent to their craft.

This reminds me that so much of what we do, daily, is live our lives as best we can, PL calendar day 15 – A cheerful Smile and expression makes everyone around you happy.

When you do everything with a smile, not only you but the the people around you will feel good. Always remember to put on a happy face.

Friday 13th

It has been a mushroom day. Hopefully you have found your day just as interesting.

PL calendar day 13 We all have different ways of feeling and thinking.

Let’s us always accept others differences and respect one another. Remember that “different strokes for different folks” is the key to having harmonious relationships with the people around us.

Doors found

stopped to catch a look at what was behind the trees

Good morning everyone, I was very happy when I came across these empty fields and spied gigantic wheels hidden behind the trees. It was on the same day that I found myself alone in the quiet surroundings of farm land that for whatever reason, at that time, was void of human activity.

PL calendar day 12 Always pray to become a better person

If you are content with the status quo, your progress will stop. Always seek for ways to improve yourself and continue to move forward one step at a time.
