It is a gift from my son,& his bf & partner, wonderful Brig, who is patiently holding it so I can see it. The question was did I want it all. Hmmm tough decision. In the end I went with the fender and logo. I would have loved the whole truck grill, BUT I did have to be somewhat realistic. I don’t live on land with lots and lots of room, we are on a city lot, walking distance from the city’s core. It now sits in the living room where I can see it every day.
PL Principle # 3 have a mind of appreciation towards others and things.
I am grateful that my son and his Brig are so thoughtful, they are such blessings in my life. I appreciate that he spared me going out to the metal yards to round this up for myself. I was planning on have a go at going there with the tools to harvest whatever I could find. But lovely Brig and he went out on their own, and found it for me. =^_^=
A day of adventure, at Ontario’s Sand Banks. It was on the cool side, the summer tourist and cottage season over, the beach was a paradise of sand and surf.
There is something hauntingly beautiful about spending time on a beach that at times is so crowded with human energy, that it is buzzing… and finding it quiet and peaceful. The land simply “BEING”.
We will be heading out at the end of this week, to go where-ever the road leads. I love my memories of a time that was, but I am keen to discover, the world that will unfold as we take roads less traveled in our quest for new places to appreciate and enjoy

Saturday..groan.. another morning
Dogs want to eat, I just want to sleep
ok already, I’m up
what, no coffee
some days, the world can seem weary
the trick,
treat yourself
you might still be a tad out of focus
but you CAN do it
head for the woods, hills, whatever beckons
yesterday, was yesterday
today is today
seize the day
make it yours
have a great day
I’m rooting for you..
you bet!! I LOVE you

Right. If only life were that simple..
Oophs sorry, wrong door, and you can simply close it and go to the next one. It happens more often than we would like to acknowledge. Another project, another impossible discussion with ?, a deadline looming and we’ve not come to a decision.
If we landed in a bit of a pickle, chances are, we by our own actions had a hand in lading us there. Time to stand back and really examine the “door/issue/challenge”. See it as an opportunity.
Don’t be deterred by how it looks, if you want inside, or to know what is behind the doors, then you will need to creatively find a way to do just that.
A door big or small, any shape at all, has always fascinated me, I doubt that will change anytime soon. Even when I know what is behind the door. I want to open the door and go inside. Unless of course it is housework, and dirty dishes waiting on the other side.

plain on the outside maybe, but inside…comforts of home in a land far far away

Come on, come outside and play..

Hi Everyone… my apologies to those of you who have joined our little “group” in the last month or so. I have been experiencing issues with Windows defender, and my security software. While away on my last trip, I noted that several new members had joined up. However when I got back home to have a look and say hello, thank you etc. Some were not to be found, and others caused problems when I tried opening them. So now I am being cautious.
I welcome you .. in time I will find a way to actually get to your blogs. Meanwhile, welcome, welcome, I look forward to getting to know what part of the blogs you enjoy the most. =^_^=
The month of October is a very creative month. In August I begin with the fall greeting cards, and doing up Thanksgiving one, and yes… I get a head start on the ghoulish and witching ones. Yet.. I do not do Halloween. Go figure, I simply like the creativity it brings out in me. I remember in the days when I did ATC* challenges, my envelopes would be decorated with tombstones, ghosts and “characters” in all shapes and sizes.
Today I was told that our cards will be sold at one of the Craft fairs, by two of our members. So here I am doing HO HO HO cards. By December I’m doing Hearts and Flowers cards, and working my way into Irish greetings.=^_^=

what on earth have you gotten into
certainly the month of October
brings out the devilish urge
to prance and dance
in outlandish attire
in full view
the hippo you?
that was years ago.
when all you knew was being a Tiny
in a world of fantasy and creativity
where are your clothes
a fine witches brew
you’ve gotten into
it isn’t even Hallow’s Eve
hide behind the pumpkin’s silly grin
what are we to do
when the full moon
comes into view
dear oh dear
I do believe we have a case
of October-itice
we can be anything we want to be
October is the month to play
to dabble
in a witches brew
come join Q
we wait for YOU
hahahaha
coming to a store near you..

have fun, explore allow your creativity to flow
if you visit virtual worlds, you have lots of room to play.
where ever you are. be present in the moment
and enjoy being YOU
I will tell you no lies…
instead of being weed free
this year, this garden patch was left to be
what a surprise to walk by and find
that the fall colour
and nature’s design
presented such a pretty sight
for my eyes
truth be told
I got bold
and asked that I be given a sign
on what to have for supper
what I was given
was a package of frozen clams
sigh, not really what I had in mind
but I did ask
so here it is
clam, fresh okra on a bed
of fresh Japanese noodles
enough said
I’m off to partake
of the bounty on my plate
see what happens
when left on my own
no questions asked
you get
the mix and match
that rolls around
in my cluttered head
have a delightful day ahead
till then
smiles will bring my day to an end.
