hahaha, LOL, you are too much… I wish… after the rejection I got from the blue jays today, you just made me feel a whole lot happier.. Those little devils are so darn beautiful to watch, but such characters, I can’t believe the noises and cat calls they make. I tell you.. its cold on the fingers without gloves.. what do you wear in cold temperatures to be able to use your camera?
Hi there. I can operate the shutter without gloves but not much else. So my gloves are one and off a lot. I tried these special gloves where the finger tips are exposed but they weren’t warm enough. We suffer for our art. These are my go-to gloves. https://www.icewear.is/us/papey-wool-gloves Made in Iceland and super-warm. I can operate the shutter with them on. Shipping is expensive, so I usually order two pairs when I get them.
Enjoyable gallery. That last, single door is my favorite. I feature some truck doors this week as well but in slightly better shape that yours. 🙂 As for chasing doors, there’s no door yet (except on a vehicle of some sort) that can outrun me! 🙂

good evening Teresa, it is made of ice, it was part of an ice competition a few years back, n part of Winterlude. There is always an ice carving contest, sculpture artists from all over the world come to participate. This year there will be no Winterlude, due to covid…. waves to you across the miles.

it is, Ottawa has an in ice sculpture most winters during winter festivel Winterlude. However,due to covid, this year, I’m told it won’t take place. Waves good morning!
