having fun =^_^=

Thank you everyone for your kind wishes, and the healing healthy vibes you sent our way today.  Meeting was a good one, surgeries will be early December. Approx. 2 weeks apart.  There will be a lot of scheduled planning done.  The team of doctors  practitioners, therapist and educators is impressive.  They work together to keep us informed.

Your prayers and ongoing support is very appreciated.  Thank you.  We feel very blessed.

hexagon – sometimes

Quilted flower 10.27.17Sometimes, you decide to cut out a hexagon.  You have an idea.  But before you can really get carried away, your creative self goes to work… and yes, you do hexagons, but this is what you end up with.

There is another step or two that followed, but the picture may or may not be completed, so… I leave you with the above.  I wanted fall colours, and I’ve done a flower.  We will have to wait to see what comes next.

Sometimes, we have to know when to stop, take a step back, and wait.

Happy week-end everyone!

shadows

IMG_4112Shadows cast their imprint on the forest floor, not looking up, I wanted to read the storyline that played out on the fallen pines and organic debris that carpeted the way

IMG_4113autumn sun was high in the sky, so that the filtered light cast beautifully defined lines against the rusted shades of brown and grays that lay textured, the perfect foil for the images being projected for our viewing.

PL Precept #1     Life is Art.

How we creatively interact with the challenges and opportunities that come our way, if we were to see them only visually, it would be like the shadows shown above. dynamic and static meeting as ONE.

Love a Donkey

“Hey, come on closer, I can’t hear what you are saying”… dutifully I found my way into the ditch and up to the fence.  I knew darn well they heard what I was saying, but clever darlings, wanted me closer so I could feed them the taller greens on my side of the fence.

I learned some time ago how devious they can be.  As full of mischief, they are also softies if you are deemed a friend. Get on their bad side tho’ and I would stay way clear. If they are working, and taking care of their flock… be warned, security checks can be quick and purposeful.

My visit was obviously on their lunch break. =^_^=    I’ve been known to chatter away, wax poetically and find myself rewarded with big sloppy kisses.  Of course a carrot or two in my pocket helped.

Lately I have found myself on back roads, where I have had the pleasure of a few encounters.  Have you visited with a donkey lately?  Aren’t they a wonderful audience. You know they are listening even when they turn their backs.. scratch an ear, if you are lucky, you’ll hear the donkey sigh, =^_*=  (wink)

Enjoy every day, today, will lead you to tomorrow.

Blessings be… Oyashikiri

communication …… remember, it is not always what we say, but HOW we say it. after we speak, it is important to LISTEN

Tranquility

July 2017

Tranquility is where we find it.  We recognize the moment that the world around us is blanketed with the right harmony of visual, audio and sensual input.

This view of the world through the lens of Dr.Enz (PA) a musician who has taken up photography as another way of expressing his passions.  I have permission to share some of his works with you.  Hope you enjoy.  The soft greens and the reflection in the water came together beautifully.  For me, it was/is visual music.

Not everyone will share my pleasure, and that is what makes life interesting.

Appreciate the differences in others, you don’t have to agree, but you can perhaps learn to understand.

Nature has many faces, depending on where we are at a given time, what we will see and experience , are miles apart, different in every way, yet beautiful at the same time.

With the many prayers and healing thoughts coming our way, how can we not be enriched in every way, by the thoughtful and caring generosity of our friends.

Bright, colourful, a visual delight

I am wishing with all my might

that this week

will be an endless maze

of happy days

whether  skies be blue or gray

I earnestly pray

each and every one of you

will find that God’s grace will visit you

and you will be rewarded

with the best life has to offer you

for dreams and wishes

to come true

we need only believe

love belongs to me and you
