Thanks for sharing these with Thursday Doors. Even the ones that appear to be on the brink of ruin are wonderful to look at..I always liked that Far Side comic, that was a nice addition. I also like your thoughts on peace. I tried to think of a favorite. The double doors with the high arch transom are up there but they are all great.
thanks Dan, it is wonderful to be able to share some of my collection, I have been gathering doors (photos) since as far back as I can remember. What I can’t remember is what got me started?? gray cells!!!
Well, whatever got you stared, you’ve come to the right place to share.
Amazing doors! Great!
good morning, thank YOU.. it is fun to be able to share.. some of my collection* dates back years and years.. *photo collection
Really appreciable. You’re welcome 🙏
Your final door is quite something, firmly rooted into place!
thank YOU.. I love vines, that one was left to do its thing.. waves a happy greeting your way
CD, I think that last door has to be THE BEST I have ever seen! Well done! Cady
HI. that last door has been popular! glad I included it. sends a lot of happy vibes your way!
And to you too CD! Cady
The two in the middle row (left and middle doors) and that last fairy tale door are my favorites by far this week. That last one could inspire some crazy stories!!

Hi Janet… Happy April 1. hope it is a great start to your week-end.
Wonderful choice of doors this week. That last one is what our back door would have turned into had we not cut down the huge vine that was spreading into the house, around the door and window frames. The school for the gifted is so funny, whoever came up with that has a great sense of humour.
LOL I had forgotten it till I was going through the old files… agree, it is funny. I love vines, and have had to practice pruning when I would prefer letting the vine grow… choices!!!!
I love them too, as long as they are on other people’s property, lol.
tot… good Friday morning to you !!
So doors age better than others. Some doors take root. Like that too.
good evening John, thanks for the smile… have a great start to a long week-end.
The Pull door makes me laugh! Peace is in one’s heart, while the circumstances can be a mess:) That is what Easter is about. Have a lovely one, Jesh
Hope you had a stunning week-end.. depending on where you are.. tomorrow could be part of the week-end, waves a sunny greeting your way.
That Far Side is a classic. Thanks for the reminder. Loved the last door … wow … would that ever be a great story prompt for those that do that sort of thing.
HI Frank, hope you had a good week-end.. sending energetic vibes to get you started on a new week!
That is a great collection, particularly the last. I do have to wonder about that abandoned hospital NY pic, though. It looks like too nice of a building to be taken over by weeds and the windows all broke out like that.
Happy start to a new week Eilene, hope you had a wonderful week-end.
Fascinating choices – all with stories to tell
Good morning, I do hope I can get out this summer for some exploring, Ontario has been shut down for 28 days.
Fingers crossed
