Nature has a way of showing its versatility and adaptive ways in the most creative ways. Rain, snow, sleet, ice, searing sun that blisters and burns, winds that tear and break apart, Nothing in life stays the same. The only constant in life is Change.

Today being Thursday, I wanted a door that had history, yet in its simplicity and purpose it deserved recognition. It isn’t big and imposing, but it had a very special and important function. Never judge a book by its cover.

I like to take a snapshot of tree trunks as well. I find them interesting. ππ
Oh Gail, thank you.. I have a ton of pictures of bark, tree trunks, I see them like sculptures.. I’m so happy to know there is another bark/tree lover !!
That I am. If trees could talk, imagine the stories they would tell. π΄π²π³
So tactile π
thanks Patricia…. yes.. I find bark inspiring to an abstract thinker like myself. waves across the miles.
I love the photos of the bark, and I think that door must have an amazing history!
an old fashion school house. from a different time… I agree… if the walls could talk….
I was so happy when I got to that lovely door because I was failing to see any door relationship in the bark photos, which I love, by the way. π

The bark set the tone, if you look closely at the bark photos most of them have openings and entrance ways to their inner depths. Some have what appears to be a closed door, or there is one being prepared.. Glad you liked the old school door… behind every door, there is a story waiting to be told.. Hey Janet, waves across the miles..
I did see the openings but because youβre u mentioned the bark, I didnβt concentrate on them. π. It works.
Canyons and crevices, faces and bodies, all kinds of things to see there!
I like it when people ask for my help. I very cheerfully jump at the opportunity.
Hi Eilene, missed this earlier, yes, bark is a wonderful way to spent time “imagining”… the melting snow has created a situation for me, that I don’t remember having to deal with in past years. I go into allergic coughing spells… I think its the mold… 15 20 min. of leaving the area, and symptoms clear. !! of… late… don’t find that I want to jump at every opportunity that presents itself…..
Bonsoir Dymoon, je suis d’accord Γͺtre gentil avec les autres, polis tu peux obtenir plus de service et respecter.
A plutard β€ Patricia
Bonjour Patricia… waves and sends a hug just for YOU.
It is one more evidence of the most creative artist is Nature!
I agree with you Alexander… how is spring coming along in the Niagara?
