The little train that could, would and will delight you if you are visiting Brockville. It was a beautiful day, there were people out enjoying the day.. all along the water’s edge.. families and tourists mingled in the sunshine. It was nice to see people out taking time to explore. Lots of dogs being walked, even a musician playing the sax outside the main attraction which was the old railway tunnel, now a tourist attraction.
There was a lot to do and see in Brockville whether it is an outdoor adventure .. scuba diving, kayaking, or a sight seeing tour of the 1000 Islands on the St. Lawrence in a traditional sightseeing cruise or a high speed soft adventure aboard a wildcat. There is something for everyone. We didn’t visit the Aquatarium, but I think Bonnie put it on her list of possible attractions for another visit.
One attraction that I would have loved to try was the Forest Adventure.. TreeTop Trekking -Thousand Islands-.. if you want to know more visit TREETOPTREKKING.COM. You all know I won’t be trying that soon, but a gal can dream =^_^=
If you are going to do it, do it joyfully. If you have to do something, choose to do it with joy and enthusiasm. By doing so, you will experience a deeper sense of beauty.

Please enjoy whatever it is you have to do, sometimes it is a challenge, see it as an opportunity.. do your best, that is all that you can do … then move on.

Note to myself.. remember .. it feels good to snuggle into bed at the end of a busy day. Satisfied with the work I got done and the interactions I had with people I met and visited with during the day. Remember to smile. a stranger can become a friend … and I know from experience, the friends we meet along the way are a joy remembered.. always.

I’ve read about the treetop treking. I think it would be fun, but I’m not sure I’d do it. Love the train!
Thanks Dan. I really wish I was younger, I would try it, it looks like so much fun, I think it would be exhilarating…

Thank you Christine!
My husband has always liked trains. One year for his birthday, we booked a “train car” hotel room that was in downtown Indianapolis at Union Station. It was a phenomenal experience!
that sounds fun, where I live now .. before it was torn down, a train engineer who worked for the American line that at one time came up to Canada, how to boxcars that he had made into a home for his family.
Ohmygosh. My husband would’ve loved that, too. 👏
So true about a good day and happy sleep. Glad you had a good one, even without being in the tree tops.
LOL waves across at Eilene, how you doing? Colour begun to change where you are?
Doing well. Just a tiny bit of color change.
My grandsons would love this!
I thought them adorable … the kids love them.
