Loved this creative way of showcasing what was.. Touring along a dusty country road, where there was a lot lush vegetation, It was a refreshing sight to find an old barn that was being used as a backdrop for old pieces of rusting metal farm equipment and an old bike.
There is an implement on the bottom row that reminds me of the ice “tongs” used to grab big chunks of ice stored in “ice” barns.. in the days before refrigerators. Does seeing these old pieces remind you of another place and time? I see there is a bigger one upper left. I love rusted metals, can anyone shed light on some of the history showcased here?
Have a great start to your week!

Lets see.. there are three ice tongs, the long wood handle with the blade on the end is a scythe. It’s used to cut weeds and hay, there’s a garden plow, a draw knife for shaving wood, and what looks like an animal trap. Don’t know what the thing on the very top is.
And I assume you recognize the bike and the mailbox.
you’re good. I thought it might have something to do with horses?
Beautiful pictures. My trip to Shawinigan with Mimi was cancelled as we had predicted. I went to Wendover and Plantagenet with Jocelyn my neighbour for his birthday yesterday. Today I’m taking care of my house and personnel stuff. Long overdue. I’m glad you and Bonnie seemed to have had a good trip across the border. I hope you got to The Dollar Tree as you wished Love C
