Monday

Hello world….

Do you ever get overwhelmed by the constant “noise” that seems to happen all around you… Doesn’t matter the time of day/night… we are bombarded by everyday activities that are not always “restful”. We can wake up planning for an uneventful day and suddenly find ourselves immersed in someone else’s drama.

“Now” is always the start of something new.

Leave the past in the past. What is important is “what you are going to do now.” Using the present as a starting point, move forward on a path towards improvement and progress.

Can you believe, November is almost over… the other day I noticed that the Holiday movies are back… I thought they happened only in December after the American Thanksgiving.. but, I guess not. (no.. I didn’t sit down to watch) I now put on “cat” music.. yup. YouTube has videos with audio/visual for felines.. who knew. The cats actually come by to check out the activities on the screen.

I also visited a SPIN site, Standard Poodles in Need (rescue & rehome) sssshhhhh just having a look… picked it up at the “pet” show I went to a couple of weeks ago.

Have a great Monday and start to a new week!

The noise is constant and jarring… It’s good to get out into the countryside and get away from it 😀

We live in a quiet area, but a new owner across the river seems to be constantly running equipment to modify landscaping. Getting a bit irritating for sure! I like the premise of always moving forward, regardless of the past.

how annoying that must be.. today it was a cold drizzle but I still went. I take my winter boots (I wear ice grips on them) and change into the boots when I get to the parking lot. Then I take my time and wander down to feed the birds.. they watch for me, now they circle me and try to get at the scoop in my hand. It was so quiet, just the falling drizzle, it was wet, but I didn’t care… The only other car and it was leaving when I got there, was the chap who walks his dog.

Hopefully your across the water neighbour will finish what he is doing soon.. Happy Thanksgiving, I understand it is a super big holiday in the States.

Thank you. Yes, I think he is done for this time. It is a big holiday. We’ll be going to friend’s home, a dozen people total. I will be making the cranberry-orange compote.

Fortunately I do not need to drive anywhere to take my dogs for a walk in the country. I just step out the door!
