What church you attend, and how you pray, this is very personal. Only something you can decide. What is important is that you pray. That communication with the Divine/Universe is a constant part of your life on a daily basis.
Always be open to the words/direction/guidance of God/TAO

Call it meditation, call it prayer, call it anything you want, but make the time every day to keep in touch with your “inner voice” Whether you believe it or not, you are connected to the Universe, in all you say, do, everything.

Some of us pray in a formal church, and many of us, have our own private places where we find our quiet and calm. The formality of a church can be daunting, and to some boring. In life I have found that no matter where I’ve gone, or what the circumstances, the people/souls I’ve connected with, no matter the outer appearance, were spiritual in their own way. ie. in SL, behind every avatar is a human being with a heart that lives and breathes. In life, everyone we meet has a heart that beats, they live with feelings, hurts and bruises, and have loved and lost just like you and I.

This church in SL is open to everyone. It is run by a church in the States. when you arrive at the church, you can obtain a notecard that gives you the information on the how and why of the church. I’ve cut and paste the first part of the note card for you.

“I hope that you will find sweet kindness here. My SL name is Pelagius Friend (see the note on Pelagius at the bottom of this notecard). My RL name is Benhardt Fraumann and I am a Presbyterian Minister who serves a RL church just outside New York City. My RL website…if you ever want to hear a homily is http://www.communitypc.org. ” He then goes on to explain the concept of the church and talk about Monk represented in their build, it is very interesting. Pelagius (350-418 A.D. Approximate)

This is not the only church to provide a place for the many thousands of players in SL. ( PL is also present in SL along with many many others)

Inspiration – ginger or garlic

Inspiration - ginger or garlic

Hmmm ginger or garlic, what has that to do with Inspiration. It is about choices, Garlic is such a wonderful little plant. Not only does it add flavour to food it is healthy for us. The same can be said about ginger, Each one has its own taste, and its own uses (as health benefits) and depending on how it is used, will determine our acceptance of use of it.
Interestingly, both are roots (bulbs) the most known remedies and uses are of the part of the plant that is underground.
When out in the woods, unless you know what you are looking for the wild garlic goes unseen.
If my husband comes into the kitchen while I’m preparing a meal, he reacts to the smell of garlic (in the negative) and it in turn affects his pleasure in the meal when it is served.
IF he does not see me cooking, he enjoys the meal with much more gusto and appreciation.

On the surface, life can be tranquil and peaceful, but when we look, really look, often what we see changes our initial perspective.
All this to say, there are so many layers in life, and often we are only dealing with the top layers.
When Inspiration comes to us, it is because the Universe has cut through the layers and has given us a quick glimpse at the heart or core of that moment and blessed us with an option. I’ve used the word option, because. we are guided, it is up to us to make the choice of listening or doing something different.
Listen, accept the thought and if action is involved, do it. Go for it. Believe in your inner voice for it belongs to YOU, Have faith in yourSELF. me, myself and I, we are all ONE connected to the Universe, The Divine connection is always there, sometimes we simply are not listening. GOD/TAO is ever present. A L W A Y S

In PL we believe in living a “Prayerful Life” Morning and evening prayers help us overcome difficulties and live each moment with purpose. Prayer will also help us to progress and improve ourselves as we apply PL teachings in our daily life.

Saying “Thank You” Creates a Heart to Heart Connection. If you don’t put your thoughts into words and actions, you will not be able to express how you truly feel. By expressing your gratitude in words, you can get your feelings across fully.

Sometimes being comfortable with a friend, relative, partner in life, we can forget to say “thank you” after a time, assuming that they know we appreciate them, and what they do for us. That is taking them for granted. I love my husband very much, it is impossible to say thank you for all the small things he does for me/us on a daily basis, but I try as often as I can to let him know just how special he is. I’ve discovered, that not only does it bring a smile to his face, it pleases me no end, that we’ve shared a heart to heart moment. Father’s Day is coming soon, it is good that we have put aside one day to celebrate the special man/men in our lives. However I personally feel that every day should be a day of gratitude and saying ” Thank You” to the special people who touch our hearts.
