I confess, I’m a minion fan.  I don’t go seeking them out, but when one lands in my mailbox, I find that for the next lost minutes, I’m following the trail to more.  This one, spoke loudly enough that I claimed a copy to share.  How many times in a day, does my LAZY mind make itself known.

PL Principle # 14

I will not have a mind to be lazy.  I will not have complaints while working,

nor be overly concerned and complain about others.

lazy >< motivation

quote Jeff Foster -fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akkamaihd,net

What if I feel like having the best darn lazy afternoon i can have.  Objective, doing only what makes me feel sinfully lazy, resting in a chair, feet up, with nothing but a good book, or better still, closing my eyes and enjoying the sound of nothing in particular.

Why, must I feel that I should be motivated to do something, like wash the bathroom floor, or dust the cobwebs from the ceiling.  Or, motivated to answer a phone because it is ringing.  We are often compelled to respond to the “need of others” rather than to listen to our inner voice, to chill/relax and to let our own thoughts and feelings take their time to materialize.

I have no problem doing this…. do you?

These are the two lessons i am working on this morning..  I found myself thinking some very surprising thoughts this morning.  Recollections of my unbidden thoughts from last night seem to be wanting attention.  You know where a thought comes up about something that happened at another time that is disturbing … yet at the time, you hadn’t noticed just how much the experience was affecting your thought process.

Today’s calendar “lesson” says, that if we face a situation head on, a path will open up“….  hmm  sits quietly and reflects on the niggly thoughts that are lingering.  I didn’t like learning I had a lazy mind, but after it was brought to my attention, I did eventually see that I do have a lazy mind, LOL and it sneaks up on me when I least expect it.

This ahHA moment will also be a good lesson for me.  Smiles, life lessons are ongoing,  guess I’ll be a “work in progress” for some time to come.

Thank you for sharing with me -I so appreciate you all, may your day be blessed with blue skies and happiness.
