If only

If only

How often do we think there are not enough hours in a a day…
How often do we think, if only I had done . xyz….. the outcome would have been different….
If only, this had happened, then blah blah blah.. life is not wrapped up in a neat little bow

The wrapping paper is not always pretty, and the ribbon can be frayed, but, when we pray, when prayer is a daily activity in our lives Our lives take on a very different “flavour”, our wrapping takes on a pleasing and uniquely personal “style”

Prayer, faith and devotion are at the core of living in harmony with “Nature

FYI – Willie Nelson wrote a book with Turk Pipkin.   The Tao of Willie – a guide to the happiness in your heart..   On the back cover  “Some would call it happiness, but I like to think that what I found is me.  that sounds simple enough, but the truth i, it took quite a while to do it….

If only, belongs in the past, it is past tense,  live each moment like it is your first (cuz it is)…. and   SMILE,      S M I L E,     S  M  I  L  E

Love and Blessings…  today, and always

Spiraling out of control

6.7.a.m._004

Have you ever had the feeling that you were spiraling out of control. That even though you were standing still, life was just whirling past far too quickly
We live in a world that is rapidly changing ..
We get used to certain constants in our lives, and then, one day you wake up, look around, and life is not really the same at all.
How do we continue to keep up and evolve with the different trends of society, do we really need to continually strive to broaden our horizon.

Sometimes yes. Sometimes no.

One of the aspects of being a member of PL is that PL responds to problems in our daily lives, by offering personal consultations. I treasure this opportunity to have one on one with the minister. The Minister(s) is/are always there for private consultations. WE, each and every one of us, travels at our own pace. Having the ability to touch base personally regarding the various stages and phases of our spiritual life journey is one of the “unique” services provided by church.

PL offers Personal guidance, to help us keep in tune with the Times. You can receive consultation from a PL minister for any kind of problems or situations. You receive personal guidance tailored to your individual character and situation.  Each one of us has our own unique personality and life style.  Therefore, it is different for each individual how they would practice the true way, or how they would seek happiness.

Happiness is built by establishing wishes and goals, and then working towards achieving them in your daily life.

Oshieoya-sama has put his Shikiri prayer into PL Consultations. – PL ministers and Hokyoshi are sworn to confidentiality, If something is not right in your life and you are not happy, or you are not enthusiastic about something, feel free to ask your minister or Hokyoshi (assistant Minister) for a PL consultation.  The church is here for YOU.

Letting Go of Ego

Letting Go of our Ego

PL teaches > if we are always caught up with power, status and appearances, we will find it hard to accomplish anything of worth. We are encouraged to “Let Go” and express ourselves fully.
Gosh, “ego” can be so abstract. Often it isn’t till I am well into the fray that I discover my “ego” has helped land me there.

For fun I looked up “EGO” in the Concise Oxford English Dictionary, why not… it is very early in the a.m.  and i want to know what the academic definition is of EGO is, since i seem to have one of my very own.  Here we go. 1> a person’s  sense self esteem or self importance   (2 )psychoanalysis  the part of the mind that mediates between the conscious mind and the unconscious and is responsible for reality testing and a sense of personal identity. Compare with ID and Superego 3. philosophy (in metaphysics) a conscious thinking subject.

I just know you feel so much brighter and care free with this little tidbit of information tucked into your gray matter =^_^=….

Personally I think that    an “ego” is a very personal part of our “personality and character.  Certainly there are days when it can be very fragile, and other days when it is simply mulish.  Ego might be something to discuss with Rev. Eugene next time we are sitting down for a “visit”.  Consultations and visits with the ministers is very encouraged in the PL church.  When James H. Rutz (free lance writer) talks about the formality in churches and how the personal sharing and one on one has disappeared from many of the “today” churches, I’m happy to say that this is not the case with the PL Churches,   PL has a unique way of offering “Personal Guidance”

We believe strongly that happiness is built by establishing wishes and goals.  through consultations with a PL minister, you receive personal guidance tailored to your individual character and situation.  You can receive consultations from a PL minister for any kind of problem or situation.  Not only do PL Consultations help you solve problems, but through consultations, you can learn how to express your true self for the sake of society and for the sake of others,

Our mission in PL is to create  World Peace, we believe we can do this by passing on from one person to another the teachings of PL

Letting Go of Your Ego Will Make You a Stronger Person.  Tall request… nah… put your mind to it and YOU CAN DO IT.

H A P P Y    F R I D A Y     everyone!  Enjoy your day whatever you are doing?  Make every second count !!

Love and blessings…… now and always

World Peace

World Peace

I’ve found myself wanting to be back in Japan, even though I was surrounded by people there were nooks and crannies and quiet places where the serenity of the moment was overwhelming. You literally walked away your stress, or day to day hum drum thoughts that weighed you down when your busy mind started to natter.
The goal in PL is to strive for, and achieve, World Peace.
To attain such a goal, we have to begin with our “Selves”

No one can change us, we alone can do that. I think lately I’ve let the every day world “pull my chain” or interfere too much with my daily meditations. Yesterday’s teaching on the PL calendar was.  Let’s choose to use words that are kind, polite and courteous. Kind words will bring about a kind heart.   BEAUTIFUL WORDS MAKE FOR A BEAUTIFUL SOUL

That is what resonates with me today. today’s teaching is Act with Enthusiasm.. If you put your whole heart into whatever you do, you will be able to appreciate any task at hand.take initiative in tackling your work or tasks.

Good thoughts to start the day with don’t you think.

Robert H. Schuller wrote a spiritual autobiography that he called Prayer – My Soul’s Adventure with God –
He wrote.. (Psalm 51:10-12)
Create in me a clean heart, O God.
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from yolur presence
And do not take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous spirit.

Blessing everyone, be God inspired today!

It is my pleasure to introduce to you another member of PL

Perfect Liberty is an International church, therefore members who will share with us, at times will do so in both their languages.  I do not change their words, or thoughts, but share them with you as they are offered.  I love PL so much because as a community we share and grow with the encouragement and support of not only the ministers but fellow members.  The Japanese terms are commonly used in PL,  You should be able to find the words and their meanings on our website, (link on right)  However I will work them in if I can do so without changing the expressions of the writer

Meet Harry  (USA), Harry attended Kyososai (the celebrations I wrote about in August)  this past July/August.   =^_^+ in fact, you will see Harry carrying the Canadian Flag for Canada (he became an honorary Canadian to help me out!  True gentleman!!)(see prev. blog)

This was a fun picture taken when we met the actors who perform in the PL children;s theater

Harry and cat

Each Kyososai is unique and every year is distinct with the mix of different people
attending. Often for me I try to absorb as much as I can all that goes on at Holyland
during my stay there. The whole time spent there is the rensei training, not just the
official part of the program …. Listening to lectures, taking every opportunity to pray at
the himorogi, conversing, sharing testimonies with the Brazilian members, breathing the
air and working up a sweat just being outside.
But reality hits when I get back from the Holyland. I always seem to receive my
blessings thru Mishirases and intuitions that that help me realize my short comings, last
year it was a nasty bladder infection that haunted me from getting good rest and sleep.
It’s like god is giving me another chance – blessing and salvation after my prayers at the
Himorogi. This year it was a flu symptom that bothered me physically, but also the way
my wife told me what a pest I was to her. I never thought I was a pest probing and
inquiring about what she did and did not do. I always thought I gave her a lot of latitude,
but apparently not. My mishirase brought me to church and the consultation for
oyashikiri helped me realize that I needed to back off and give her more space and not to
probe unnecessarily. It was the words my minister spoke that triggered my intuition. I
have always prayed to try to understand my wife and I never could, I was being a pest
and suffocating her. All this time I could not realize that my actions were killing her
spirits. Thank you, Oshieoyasama.

Mishirase: Divine warning from God, in the form of an illness, a misfortune, an accident pain or suffering

Oyashikiri Prayer– The special prayer to receive the blessings of Oshieoya-sana’s Shikiri

Shikiri PL’s unique way of prayer, asking God’s blessing with a sincere promise to accomplish what we have to do

Oshieoya-sama – Honorific title of the spiritual leader of PL, Rev. Takahito Miki

Thank you Harry for sharing your testimony with us.

Blessings to each and everyone of you, now and always…

Wednesday’s greeting

Wednesday's greeting

Isn’t this a great quote. I read it once, then a second time, 10 words, well put together. Another way of say “Life is Art” the first PL Precept.
I dearly want you to meet Sensei Fukito Kimura, the minister I told you about in an earlier blog. From PL Holy Land in Tondabayasghi, Osaka,Japan. He found a way to communicate with me even though neither of us spoke the other’s language. No, not through a translator, on a one on one. ( I was in Japan for Rensei training, blog(s) would be back in early August for those of you wanting a re read)

I was so impressed with his sincerity, kindness and overall demeanor I asked Rev. Goto to ask him if I could communicate further with him once back in Canada.  He graciously agreed.  It has been a challenge, but I did manage to ask him to tell me how he became a minister with PL, and why.  He did write, (Rev. Euguene) our minister here in Ottawa) kindly did the translation for me.   Now here dear reader, is where one of my lessons in life, has to be put into practice. Somehow in the getting the file from the church to my computer it got corrupted.  Patience is one of the virtues, I have had to learn and practice, and to do it creatively =^_^=.  (Rev. Eugene is away)

Rev Kimura

Meet Sensei  Fukito Kimura, a young family man dedicated to his craft.  He had not thought of being a minister till well into the last years of his schooling.  Once that decision was taken, he never looked back.  He had a church, but was called back to the Holy Land headquarters to  work there.  He is the Coordinator of Rensei Training.  He derives great joy and sense of reward in what he does.  On the shy side, he at first appears reserved, but when you watch him in action, ensuring all runs smoothly for the many many attendees,  you realize he is focused on what he is doing.  He is living in the moment.  His words when he wrote were gentle and wise.

When I get the translation again, I will post his response in Japanese for those of you who read Japanese, because I believe that it will be a true reflection of Sensei Fukito’s words.  And the English translation.

I know today’s teaching was on the Value of Money and Things…  but I wanted to talk about the value of Friendships and how  a real connection with another person will always be through a sincere desire to reach out and embrace that person with a love that speaks from the “heart”

Become a peace maker in life, a smile goes a long way, not everyone is lovable, we don’t always succeed at being gracious or kind, but we can all work towards a happier day. It begins with one tiny step at a time.

Emphasize on the inner spiritual energy of love and peace… Blessings all…

Friday 13th Everybody! Hurrah!!

Friday the 13th Everybody! Hurrah!!

This little guy is getting ready to go to the church with me to set up for tomorrow’s Garage Sale. Been sorting and pricing for days, jewelry, crafts, scrapbook supplies, the stuff still left to take in. There is more at the church that I will be getting at later today. We have a crew coming in later in the day to help.
Tomorrow, bright and early we will be ready for you.  Come share the fun with us.
A big thank you, to those of you who are so kind to write and/or give likes, I love hearing from you.
Yes I do have a Pinterest page- check Dymoon Canaille,

NOW.. tell me about you, how are you doing today?
Do you have a full day ahead of you, or in a different time zone, How has your day been so far?

In PL we believe GOD resides in your prayerful mind. When we make a heartfelt and continuous effort, The Universe responds to our Makoto (sincerity).

Have you ever read any of the works of Wayne W. Dyer?
He wrote “ While God represents the one power and does not recognize any other power, your mind is something quiet different. Your mind has both the power of evil and the power of good. As long as you use this power for the purpose of creating harmony in yourself and others you are consistent with the one Power of spirit. Spirit is the one unifying force in the Universe”

No effort is ever wasted. No matter how small your efforts, your Makoto will always be rewarded.

Smile dearest reader, really I ask you right this moment to smile with me, aaaahhhh a smile feels so good.  A nice wide smile, eyes closed. YES it just feels soooo darn good!  Your inner smile is ALWAYS with you. Use it.

Feel the love and joy being sent to you today. God/TAO resides in your prayerful Mind.
Now and Always. amen

Treat today as if it is your first time around

Just because you succeeded in the past it doesn’t guarantee that things will go as smoothly this time around. Every day each moment, there is a new challenge to face.

Don’t be captured by the past. Live in the Now.

Blessings … as the blessing moves across my lips, I feel both energized and serene. I wish and pray for you, health, peace and well being. My soul celebrates with the joy of sharing.
