    Kilbran died quite young, at 48, drinking heavily after the success of “The Prophet.” He was a puzzling personality.

      I enjoyed many of the passages in The Prophet. puzzling personality is a good way to put it, when the Prophet came out, it was foreign philosophy to many, it still is today. But it rang true to those of us who enjoyed reading the Prophet. a LONG time ago now. waves a good day to you!
