For miles and miles of highway, it was one breathtaking moment after another. Thankfully I can’t stop on a major super highway, too many cars, besides, I wouldn’t know which length of highway to stop and gape at. As I got closer to Montreal, there was less of the deeper colours, but the change was evident. Soon the West Island will be showing glorious colours against the blue of the skies and the reflection off the waterways.
I even made it back to the Ottawa area, in time to have my car tended to. Somewhere between Hawksbury and Alfred my light went on, (dash) I had a tire loosing air. Tomorrow is another busy day, I was encouraged to get my tire fixed, or I could be without a car for tomorrow. Couldn’t have that, now could I.

Some day, we will need to convince you to come to Michigan and drive up M22 during the fall. Drive through tunnels of reds and yellows and some green pines for added colors.

At home in Paris (France) we have to go to the forest to admire them and they are slow to arrive
In Canada right now, depending on the Province, and where you are, the colours are vibrant, are they not inspiring..waves across the ocean
