Strangely, not all roses have thorns. So, maybe everything hasn’t gone ‘wrong’, just hasn’t gone the way you expected.
Old saying. Don’t morn that roses have thorns, rejoice that thorn bushes have roses.

So true… although I often forget.
good morning… sigh.. tell me about forgetting.. I’m becoming familiar with this little occurrence Waves across the ocean… I’ve taken to whittling as I walk..obviously I’m being very careful.. and using only a well sharpened blade.. I’ve picked up fallen limbs.. not too big. and then let myself feel the wood.. smooth out the ripped edges … helps me to connect. I have with me a leather shield for my thumb… so far.. I’m walking so slowly and being mindful I’ve not used the guard. how are you?.
