A fine WordPress.com site

doorways

Doors are so important in our lives, and we take them for granted. Wandering around, we find doors in all shapes, colours and sizes… they all lead somewhere or to something. I’m blessed with friends who know and share my love of doors.. I was delighted when this picture landed in my InBox. Lately I have been working on being more aware and mindful… this picture brought joy, made me smile, two doors flung open in welcome.

You can be with God by having a prayerful mind. Let’s pray for World Peace. We are all one big family. Let’s start by praying for the happiness of those around us.

  1. Although I always like seeing doors, open doors are the best in so many ways. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  2. Doors are captivating to me as well. So many untold stories are hidden inside. 👀🍃

    • Ian was visiting a site abut an hour or so away from here it has a canal where boats goes through .. its what we call a tourist town, when I saw the picture .. I wanted to jump in the car and go for the drive.. but… you guessed it… the heat kept me closer to home, he and his family are younger and are still into exploring and doing. LOL my idea these days of doing, is letting the dogs in and out. waves good morning to you.. ps. you are always working in the kitchen, creating… doesn’t that get hot?

      • I cook very early in the day and then I’m done! It works well because I’m a morning person and have a lot more energy. By afternoon, I’m ready for a good book by the pool. 💦

    • smart.. I understand that 110% =^_^= so civilized…

  3. A very peaceful picture indeed! 🙂
