Rules – Good morning everyone!

Look at the dog’s eyes, I can almost hear him/her asking his mistress “really, did I sign up for this”, this is what you want me to do?” Meanwhile the little cuddly friend is happily drinking from the bottle and thinking only of how yummy, delicious it is. This is a wonderful picture. I send an enormous thank you to the artist that put the energy and creativity into bringing it to us. It brought a smile to my day and for sure, to millions of others who saw and delighted in the composition. Before social media, we were still able to come up with such clever ideas, and take pictures to show our friends and family But we couldn’t share like we do today, we didn’t have the tools to allow total strangers all over the world to share in our creative moment.

Yes we still had artistic expression, we still lived our lives moment by moment, we did our chores, played, worked and played some more, but the element of having our creativity, thoughts,dreams and expressions on display for all to see… well …. that was unknown. Until…. someone somewhere broke a rule, or stepped outside a box and brought new potential and far reaching ideas into tangible possibilities. There is a joy in being creative. Every day I see friends who live miles and sometimes continents apart sharing their day and thoughts with friends they’ve met in virtual worlds, on Facebook, in games.. and it is not just inane chatter, often is is meaningful, supportive and caring.

While we live in a world where there is a framework of laws, morals and rules to follow, the keyword here is framework…. when Divine Spirit is our constant companion and we are always in touch, (connected) love is our motivation,world peace and inner joy our goal, then a rule is a man made what? guideline?………… I know they are needed…………..but…………….

Mindful

Being aware. involved, each day, almost every moment of our waking hours when we are mindful, we have pathways that open up and we are faced with what path we will follow.

Good Morning everyone =^_^= I have enjoyed researching how I would present this today, thank you for this opportunity and for the moment we are now sharing.

Calm, peaceful, less journeyed, pristine, the photographer captured the silence of the moment, even though it shows that a vehicle can travel this road, it doesn’t capture that, the picture draws us in, so that if we are very quiet,we will hear the birds and the rustle of leaves as the forest animals go about their business.It is very inviting.

This amazing shot was posted by visitjapan.com it is of Yuki-no-Otani snow canyon road in Japan. The walls of snow are approximately 5 stories high. Whew I see a car driving along there, hmmm do I want to be in it? Actually if you really look there are many other cars so it is a well traveled road, still as beautiful as it is I might like to travel the road in a different season.

LOL now this picture, taken in New Zealand, where it seems there are many such roads to entice the adventurous soul, is approx. 22 km of winding treacherous road with no guard rails (Skippers Canyon near Queenstown) Look at the country side, I would love to be there, however I don’t think in that particular vehicle pulling a load.

Being mindful, means choices, participating in the decisions/challenges the Universe provides us with. Nature gives us the landscapes/tools, God provides! What path will you take today?

Enthusiasm

PL lesson for yesterday was – Act with Enthusiasm – it was something I just couldn’t get enthusiastic about, until I read further, “If you put your whole heart into whatever you do, you will be able to appreciate any task at hand.”
Hmmm – yup I could do that, my objective for the day was to do as little as possible, In the afternoon I actually took a lie down, not to sleep, but to do nothing..
I did doze, but with no telly, no phone,no PC, no radio, I soon drifted into what my mother used to call “daydreaming”
It was nice.
It was rewarding, it was calming and peaceful.
My body rested, and best of all my mind had a holiday away from news,weather and sports. If you get my drift.
My lesson yesterday. enthusiasm = being in the moment and doing it whole-heartedly =^_^=

LOL – I looked at today’s lesson, ‘Just be Yourself” that’s me…. easy peasy. What are your plans for today? Are you making time for yourself during this busy time of the year? LIFE IS ART.

When things don’t work out as I had planned, I don’t become discouraged. Open to divine inspiration, I know that new,creative ideas are always available to me.
