November 1

In Perfect Liberty we have monthly ceremonies. On the 1st day of each month, it is the Day of Peace ceremony.

Through this ceremony we pray for World Peace and dedicate ourselves to live as peaceful human beings in our own worlds, which include home, school ,work and community.

Service will begin at 10: a.m. see you there =^_^= If you are unable to be there, be assured you will be in my prayers. Always and forever.

new arrival

This little lass arrived on my doorstep yesterday, all the way from China. She was tired and a little weary from the long voyage, and the environment she found herself in was vastly different from what she has known. After much thought, we decided her name would be Yumi. I have a young friend in Japan that she reminds me of… She graciously accepted her new name. It pleased her, since previous to arriving here, she was simply a stock number. I will let her adapt to her new environment before I try to involve myself in her life.

Today is the 31st, there will be celebrations , depending on the age group, I suspect it will be a busy evening, with a lot of fun and frolicking. Energy levels are very high all over the world where “witches and warlocks” play. How well do you know your neighbours. =^_^= I myself, will meditate and pray for all to be safe in their enjoyment of the night.

I loved this piece when I did it, October 2015, now I can’t even recall what had inspired me, or what I did with it. Life is in constant motion, what we feel is so thrilling and important today, in time, the intensity fades, and unless we learn to let go, we will be facing frustrations and hurt. Places, people, everything changes.

In PL (Perfect Liberty) we are given the tools and the encouragement to live our lives in a way that allows us flexibility, and teaches how to adapt to changes.

Don’t look for excuses to say “I can’t”. If you let your situation control you or you fear failure, you will not be able to feel enthusiastic about anything.Take on any project with a firm conviction that you will succeed.

journeys

all lined up to go?

Experience the joy of change. It is truly amazing when you look back at yourself this year compared to last year, or today compared to yesterday and realize how much you have improved and changed.

Do you think these little guys are wondering where they are heading?

Today I was reminded that this week, is the week with the 31st in it! You know what follows that… November 1. Oh dear, soon it will be time for antelopes, and hollies. Won’t that be jolly!

contrasts

Sometimes we see the changes we are experiencing … and sometimes, we are so caught up in living the moment, we actually see only the frame we are in.

Note to self.. focus on present, but also, expand your awareness to include more than just your SELF.

The shortcut to progress is to listen with a humble mind. If you are stuck in your own ways, you will eventually become bogged down. Let’s remember to be humble, learning what we can from the knowledge, advice and suggestions of others.

my thanks! and…

Thank you. It seems I have successfully changed the e-mail for the blog, and I m receiving my notices. =^_^= touch wood. Now if only I can manage to keep it all in order in the gray cells. Think positive girl.!

Today I learned that I have had a complaining mind. Of course I knew I was capable of such a activity, what I didn’t know was that I have been vocal on many times, when I should have worked on Perfect Liberty Principle # 2

I will not have complaints about others, matters nor the weather. Rather I will always be creative and will look for shortcomings in my own thinking and actions.

PL Principle #2

I will live with a mind of appreciation towards others and things.

PL Principle #3

It is a good friend that will point out something to you, that you have not been seeing in your behavior. I am grateful to have such a friend.

It is time to take a page from Mother Nature’s season, let some of my leaves fall and reacquaint myself with my roots. I have had too many leaves crowding my view, I need to stand back, and explore my truck and branches. Slowly and carefully, changes have taken place and it is time to look within.

I will not be stubborn, being captured by my own thoughts.

Friday Funk

Oh yes, it can start out very bleak …. however I know it will change, with or without Bell Canada and their inability to fix an errand e-mail glitch. Allow me one teensy weenie vent..”the problem has been occurring for months, every couple of days? aahhhhhh… that felt better.

Now the colour is coming back =^_^= I actually got a canvas the other day to explode some colour on. My friend Mollie beat me to it, she posted a wonderful painting in the brilliant colours that have been displayed in her area. You’ve inspired me Mollie.

Myself I have been busy working on Xmas greetings, and little this and thats. Today finally I can go for my flu shot. They have been delayed, altho’ some areas, have had them, many are still waiting.

Enjoy the process and savour it. The feeling you have when you’ve seen something through to the end is awesome, but the true joy lies in the actual execution of the plan.

meaning

While walking the grounds at parc Omega, we came across this bench. I didn’t have time to meditate on it too much at the time, so I grabbed a photo. Looking at the photo I wonder why I took it at such an angle when perhaps doing it another way would have been “prettier”.. ie. no picnic bench or tent in the background.

It is the bench I wanted .. why because of the detail and the craftsmanship. There were many carvings, for sure I will return to see them all again. I wondered how many artists had been employed, I know what a connection I get to a piece when working with wood. I an NOT good at it, but I love handling and getting to know the piece that I am working on. Over the years, I have realized that I prefer instant gratification .. i.e. I work with acrylics and not oils. The medium suits my temperament and style of expression.

Wood has a rhythm of dance that requires a different focus and attention. My tools are still waiting, some within reach, and always somewhere is apiece of wood… patiently waiting.

Things that happen to us all have meaning. Everything that happens to us, happens for a reason. Each and every occurrence is a chance for you to improve yourself.

Remember this piece, I found it while walking that day. I badly wanted to bring it home, my friends, encouraged me to leave it in its resting place. I did, I knew that it was my passion for collecting that was”itching”.. but a captured memory,, will make do. The little woodland charmer, will be there for someone else to enjoy.

We all see the world through our personal lenses, whatever you discover, and decide to do.. make it worthwhile. Everything in life has meaning!

for you, my pleasure

When we make something is it for us, or the pleasure of giving. Some of both, yes. We love doing things that we enjoy, but when it gives pleasure to someone else, or it makes their day, Double blessings!

Be kind, be considerate, share happiness, and positive thinking.

Live in Perfect Liberty.

you listening?

Believe me, the deer was very aware of our movements, in a flash it would have dashed away had we come any closer. Obviously used to human traffic .. the deer was not perturbed by our presence, but there was an awareness. Basically that is the way I am, when I encounter, new surroundings, or groups of people. Aware. At least I try to be, unlike the deer I can be distracted.

In my prayers, and meditations, I ask for guidance .. to be more aware, is to be kinder to other’s feelings, avoid accidents, be prepared to lend a helping hand.. and so on. How often do we become caught up in the moment, and miss an important message, or signal, that had we been “aware” could have altered an outcome.

Value your intuition. Be aware
