Should you have picked Pub 101, this is a sampling of the delicious food you can enjoy while visiting the establishment, It has good reviews and is situated in the heart of the tourist area in downtown Ottawa. just saying, should anyone be hungry =^_^=
For the writers in the group, each one of the above doors tells a story. Some doors were found in the States, the rest are in Canada … There isn’t anywhere one can go without finding an “interesting” door.

I would love to know the story of the builds that appear to have been squeezed into their spot. I love the elegant wood paneled entrance, eith the arched transom lights. The arched (boarded shut) door in the stone tower (?) could inspire many stories.

Thanks Dan, the two doors on the wooden build, between two older buildings, is next to a library and .. I can’t recall what the other building was.. but i thought it could at one time have been built for extra storage.. The town is along a canal, in a very picturesque village, now popular with the tourist, there is a tea shop and quaint designer type shops one can visit during tourist season, trendy eating places where you sit outside on lazy days etc. the old round tower with the boarded door, I very much wanted to visit, it had been some sort of old home that had been restored and again drew tourist s with its special gardens etc. that was in perhaps NH, if my husband was still alive, he would know exactly where, however, you are stuck with my memory.. 🐱 the train cars were also in that area, and had been turned into a restaurant that at the time we were was also closed. I love the unusual as you’ve guessed. waves and sends a virtual hug your way… stay safe

I like the train doors and was just thinking that it would be nice to sit outside at the pub. Add the food and it would be great. How funny that we both featured food along with our doors today. 🙂

Hey there! the PM here is still pondering the opening of the borders.. I think it may be awhile.. Hope you are staying safe and well. we had record breaking temperatures here this week.. week-end dropping to below zero.!!
We keep talking about wanting to visit Montreal. I am hoping maybe in August we can have a little vacation. I think I’d prefer someplace drive-able. We had the warm temps as well. I plan to do a shoot tomorrow up north. Everything here is rather muddy.
