FRIDAY 6TH

Don’t think “I can’t” from the start. Begin by taking the first step. Then you’ll be able to see what comes next and a path will open.

I prayed, I reached out, the Universe provided. the power of prayer is amazing.

This tree in the woodlands on a trail I frequent, stands tall .. towering over the other trees, I can always see it in the distance as I make my way on the trail. I was struck with how it just seems to float in the sky, I’ve taken a picture of it almost every time I am there. This obviously means I have lots of pictures of it against the sky, yet I never seem to share this view when I sit down to visit with you.

Face each moment, each place with a fresh outlook

Face each moment, each place with a fresh outlook. If you handle a situation with preconceived notions or prejudices, your judgement will be clouded. Take on each situation with a blank slate, as if seeing it for the first time.

  1. That tree is rather unique. It’s odd how certain things always catch our eye on familiar hikes.

    • Hi there, summer school out? I am enjoying Corbin bridge … I smile when I see that fall is coming.. had enough of the hot, humid and mosquitoes … waves good morning.

      • Waves back. I am in my last week of summer school and then have four glorious weeks off. I’m glad you are enjoying the calendar. The ones you sent are helping me improve my Spanish. Take care.

  2. Interesting tree! Looks like a ‘witches broom,’ a fungus that disrupts the normal hormonal balance and creates a bushy effect. If some intrepid plantsman climbed up there and took a cutting, it could root and the pattern would be repeated, but the new plant would stay short. Lots of new cultivars are ‘discovered’ this way. 🙂
