Hello everyone, Bom dia…. Bon Jour… yes, I’m still here, I’ve been letting my body heal. I know I have a hard head, I certainly heard the thunk .. it has not been determined if I had an “out cold” moment or two before I realized I was on the floor .. and began taking inventory of the various limbs that are attached to my body. Suffice to say, it has been an interesting week or so… as you all know I’m not the best patient in the world.
But here we are heading into another week-end. At least tomorrow is Friday, and we are mid July. So many people take holidays in June, July and August. I know it is perfect weather for summer cottages, camping, going to the beaches and wandering country roads. Soon the country fairs will start up, I’ve already seen signs of exhibitions/fairs being advertised. We’ve had Jazz Festivals and I believe the Blues festival was just last week..
For me the last week plus I have been in recovery mode.. that means a lot of sleeping and lying still listening to audio books, lectures and seminars. I had little interest in eating, altho’ I did have to eat, so I prepared dishes that could be left on the stove and dipped into when I needed to respond to the growl in my tummy. I did make sure I stayed hydrated…. it is amazing what rest and staying hydrated can do to a body in need.
My heartfelt thanks to everyone who has written or called to check up on me. I certainly felt your “love” and believe me in the moments when I was feeling really “low” and “sorry” for my “sad state of affairs” the messages cheered me.
For those of you who know the magic of crystals/minerals.. I received a beautiful silver owl pendant with a chrysocolla pear shaped stone….it travelled from India from a friend in Australia. I am truly blessed.
Move forward with confidence. Experiences you have acquired through efforts so far are wonderful. Give it all you’ve got.

Hope you continue to mend and feel better! x
Thanks Eliza.. I’m such a lousy patient… but.. I admit.. the slowing down and forced to rest has had its positives… sends a warm hug your way
Greetings from England. Sending you love and best wishes (but not weather as it’s building up to a storm here) for a speedy recovery.
Thanks Jeremy, a friend wrote me the other day ..her son is taking a trip to Japan, a young man.. I hope he enjoys his visit. Japan is so special. Waves from Canada where it was thundering, but promises to be a sunny new day.
I hope he survives the heatwave which Japan is experiencing right now.
Tell me about heat waves in Japan, I’ve been there, done that!!!!!!
I hope the healing process continues.
Thanks Dan, now that I can watch the telly .. I have been watching old time mysteries ..english.. like Maigret.. set in the 50’s 60’s maybe.. where there would be one phone in an establishment, and the police had to use rotary dial etc. awwwww… even tho’ it was different times.. people can still be so thoughtless etc. some things don’t change. But.. the going for a walk after dinner, the strolling down an avenue… walking in the rain… the simpler lifestyles … that…. looked “interesting”…. you been there?
I grew up with a rotary phone on a “party line,” so, yes, I’ve been there. We (kids) used to walk several blocks to stores in our little town. There was never any concern. They were simpler times.
LOL so your hip to the expressions…”cool” and “right on”
Indeed.
