It isn’t always important to be doing “something”
It is OK, to allow yourself to do “nothing”
Leave your cell phone in the house, or in another room, turn it off.
When was the last time you looked up and simply took in the vast blue sky, or counted the fluffy clouds drifting overhead.
PL Precept #20
Live maintaining equilibrium between mind and matter.

There was a time when we could enjoy quiet moments of reflection, when there wasn’t an electronic device in every room. We basked in the quiet of the day, we sat outside on the porch or front stoop and enjoyed the day/night. Neighbours going for a walk, or coming home from work, going out for the evening, walking to the bus stop, the pace was slow and leisurely. And…. and…. people waved and stopped to say hi.. good evening/day….
All that has gone away. I’m told that people don’t even have time to play, they are always rushing to get something done/finished/started. Hobby, what’s that?
I have been in my new home now for just a little over a year, it has been a transition, from a house to an apartment . I am still only now realizing that I’m still “adjusting”
Its too early to really talk about it.. but I at least have now accepted that the change.. long overdo… was inevitable.
PL#16 All things progress and develop.
This is the one I’m currently working on…
PL #19 Begin once you perceive
Have a good day everyone!

Surroundings reflect your state of mind
Everything that appears before you is a reflection of your state of mind. If you work to improve your mind and actions, then what appears in the mirror will also be well balanced.
PL 2015
Closing your eyes and listening to music that is simply a melody that drifts in and floats around you….can inspire new vision.

Sometimes we need to choose silence over words
Choose silence over performance

came across this picture… couldn’t look away. I think the heat waves we’ve had this summer…. have influenced me. I am totally enamoured with the vibe ….
Today the 11th. is Ancestor’s Day … service is at 10:a.m.
Let’s pray for World Peace. Pray for the happiness of those around us.

Think “now is the time” Instead of “It’s no use now”… Don’t give up by thinking its too late. Tell yourself that there is more that can be done.
Express yourself carefully to avoid any misunderstandings.

PL2022
You can run, you can try to hide,, but you can never escape the thoughts and feelings you carry inside. We think we are alone, but always, no matter where we go, where we are, the “Universe” is watching over you.

Hello, bom dia… it was nice to be out enjoying fresh air and open skies. too often animals are kept in human made cages that keep them in buildings eating man made products instead of being out in the open air, grazing. Drove for miles yesterday on back roads, passing dozens of farms and farmland. Not a grazing animal in sight.
To be fair I do live in a populated province and myself live in a major city in the country, however, I made the effort to drive away from the city and populated suburbs and city sprawl.
I am a believer that we need to spend more time keeping in touch with nature’s healing energy. Can you spend a day away from your cell phone, a computer/television and/or electronic gadgets?

pictures are from my files a trip taken to rural Quebec a couple of years ago.

Some days come and go in a blur. With the heat wave we have been experiencing in Eastern Canada… thoughts drift to cooler times.
No matter how hard you try to foresee the future, you really don’t know how things will turnout. Do your best and see how it plays out.
