sim,entendo. I understand

Good Morning everyone... how are you doing on this wonderful Thursday in April, here we are April the 10th. Just the other day we were celebrating the 1st of the month, the Day of peace, and tomorrow is Ancestor’s Day the 11th. It is said, when time goes by quickly, we are enjoying life. Oui,yes, life is good. there is a lot going on and everyday brings new challenges, new beginnings. Soon, very soon, outside I will see the first buds begin to sprout on the cherry tree.

We understand that we will have to wait for the sun to work its magic and for the tree to find its own time and cycle for it to blossom and bring forth the beauty of its spring foliage. Why is it that we show such impatience in how other areas of our lives develop? How often have I heard someone say,” I understand” when I’ve tried to explain something I’m feeling. And, I can tell, from their actions, that really, my explanation was not understood at all. Vice verso, when I have said, “I understand” and I think I did, but did I really. Emotions are hard to pin down, they are often very abstract. We can’t predict, we can’t say at 6 pm this evening it will rain on Montcalm Street in Hull down through the village of Cantley ending at the bridge. We have forecasts that give us predictions, we listen, take it in, and then move on. Not so easy to do with our every day comings and goings! We try…. some succeed better than others .Often it has to be wondered if we even apply the same reasoning.(thought process)

Today I ask blessings of everyone in times of trouble. Comfort for those who are facing a loss. Calm for those passing their days without work during times of financial stress, Healing for those who are suffering pain and illness. Encouragement for those who are finding it difficult to believe in the future. Uphold those who are being tempted in any way today to turn their backs on life. In all these ways and more, I ask your Blessings, for we are ONE with Nature and the Universe, now forever and always………………… Oyashikiri

Surrender opens doors

Part of healing is being vulnerable. It is through life’s lessons that we learn, our imperfections are exposed. In sharing it is not so other’s can fix us or rescue us, but so we can love and accept ourselves. Sharing is a catalyst in healing and change. Our value and worth is not determined by how hard we struggle. Learn to let things happen easily and naturally. Allow the “Universe” to ease us into where we need to be. Be open to the circumstances in your life. The love and light of God/Tao surrounds us.

Put sincerity into everything you do.

My thank you to each and everyone of you for sharing this part of my life with me.

self responsibility

I first heard that term in a book by Melody Beattie, The language of Letting Go. Its been a lesson that I’ve had to work on for most of my adult life.

Being responsible, owning what you do, and the situations you find yourself in.

Learning to face situations head on, learning to focus on the moment. If we do this, and truly believe in our passion, a path will open up. You will find a way to be comfortable with where you are, and what you are feeling. Each moment is a new creation to be savored and experienced fully. Embrace the healing presence of God within us. Quietly and with a new zest for life, we open our minds to rich new ideas. ideas, that help us give of ourselves, our talents and our resources. God is life itself. Through the presence of God within, the old washes away, everything is new again. PL Precept #1 – Life is Art.. every day is a new beginning.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Daily we are given directions or a nudge by the Universe, do we see them, do we act on them, or do we simply walk on by without really experiencing the moment. Let us let us learn to express ourselves freely. We are able to experience the joy of being creative because we have the framework of laws, morals and rules to follow.

PL Precept #3 God appears through One’s Self.

PL Principle #1 I will live paying careful attention, putting Makoto (sincerity) into all I say and do.

Interior silence – the inner stillness t which meditation/prayer leads, is where the “spirit” secretly anoints the soul and heals our deepest wounds. (John of the cross)

Healing begins within

A single flower amid lush greenery – this picture always gives a moment of reflection and feel good feeling. I see the fragile petals against the more rigid leaves of the evergreen. The tinged pink blush along the petals gives the flower a delicate look and though it is a soft velvety smooth petal, the flower itself gives an overall message of strength. “Look at me, I’m here” “Come enjoy me, bend closer smell my fragrance” To the bees and insects it calls out, “join me, share in my life” Nature is a work of art, and it co-exists with the world around it. Why is it, that the human species finds it so difficult to achieve this same “Oneness” with the “Universe”

Acts of respect and courtesy are reflections on how we value others. Healing begins within our “selves” When we feel love and positive energy within, it is an energy that reflects out to the world around us. It is no secret, the energy of healing begins with us. Our willingness to change, may or may not benefit others, but we become healed. We become capable of love. Today I will work on a change of heart. I will let go of negative thoughts and replace them with the healing energy of love

On the right is Rev. Tokuo Itagaki, this man was tireless in his encouragement and hosting of all events! The “go to” man for everything. This picture came to me from a PL member from California (thanks Harry) in it you can see more of the entertainers who came by to share time with us.
(Kappa-Za children’s Theatre Group) The key figure that you saw yesterday and is also in this picture is Kimaru. When you chant his name, he comes out to play =^_^=

Well dear reader, here we are half way through the week, amazing eh. Has it been a good week so far?

Today’s teaching on the PL calendar is
“Letting Go of Your Ego Will Make You a Stronger Person”
If you are always caught up with power,status or appearances, you will have a hard time accomplishing anything of worth.
Let go and express yourself fully

Yesterday I am pleased to say that I managed very nicely to avoid any of the above “traps”, kept to myself, got what I wanted and needed to be done accomplished, all with a smile .. A smile works wonders. Granted I was one tired puppy by the time I got home, but I slept like a lamb.

Life isn’t always full of joy filled moments, but if we (me, myself and I) keep a smile and a happy disposition, the day usually works out to be ok, laughter does win the day.

Enjoy the day, if you live far away, enjoy what is left of the day and have a wonderful night of carefree dreams.

May healing energies bless those of you needing the healing “hug”, If you have extra energy to give, pray that those needing our love feel it in their lives today.
