Ink and paint

Greetings everyone… A bright sunny day shines before us. I started a pen and ink last night, but of course, since I do mixed media, I of course played with different mediums.
Life is much like when we begin a painting. We start out with an idea, and as we progress with our idea, we find that we want to either add or subtract from our possibilities. The advantage of course of a visual on canvas, is that we can stand back and review what we are doing. If it is really unsettling, and we don’t like it, we can either paint over it, or throw it out.
Not so in life. that is why we encourage the practice discussed in today’s calendar lesson.

When you are doing something, you may rush things to get good results quickly. Instead, relax and enjoy the process.
Experiment, have fun, be playful. Enjoy today, it will never be back in the same way.
