When you tramp though the woods after a snowfall, the air is fresh the day clear, its COLD, cold enough it is keeping most visitors away. I get to be alone in the woods and on the trails, the most welcome sight after tramping through snow and wandering the landscape of sculptured trees and mounds of snow… is the faded yellow door of the small “comfort” station across from the parking lot.
How is February in your part of the world, I love February because it means March is just around the corner. Mind you I’m happy most of the time… I have a secret. I like being happy and I’ve been blessed with knowing joy and contentment in my life. I had to lie down yesterday, for some reason after my morning outing and running around, when I got home I was hit with nagging “unease”…. solution… lie down, turn off, and let the moment pass.
Silence, letting the mind and body simply R E L A X … … let the chattering in the gray matter play itself out…
Works most of the time. Are you good at relaxing, and allowing your body/mind to balance itself – ?- I call it “being Present” … some call it meditating, others call it prayer… I’ve even been told.. “you are doing nothing.”… ok.. call it what you will… doesn’t matter… just try it…
Value your intuition
When you suddenly have an “A-ha” moment or when a thought pops into your mind, it is the Universe sending you a message. As soon as you notice something, you should act upon it right away.

I appreciate your presence here! 🙏🏼 💕
thanks Eliza… I was in Farm Boy today (specialty shop with fresh produce/meat etc…) they had spring flowers at the cash out.. beautiful spring bouquets and I thought of you… won’t be long now… smiles…. hope you had a good start to the “Chinese “New Year….. the flowers were so pretty, but.. they had no smell/scent to them.
I like your method for clearing your mind. I am generally pretty good at relaxing, but stopping my mind from flitting around is harder. Thanks for sharing the photos from your hike in the snow.
HI Dan, happy lunar new year… you seem to always be active, and you have a lot of social interaction… I would think that being able to clear your mind .. relaxing and just “being” would be an exercise for you.. smiles.. but from what I “know” I think you perhaps short change yourself at times. We only get to live a moment once…
That’s true. Thank you.
I believe in being happy as much as possible—but those moods do hit from time to time. Your solution sounds just right.
Hi Eilene.. how you doing? somedays I just want to close my eyes and let the world fly by… I don’t know how it works, but it does… especially if you get into a routine of doing it on a regular basis.
Soon end of Feb. and we re into March… whooo hooo!!
Doing well here. Taking the days and months as they come. Always plenty to do, but also time to rest.
Wonderful winter scenes. I love that “comfort” station and its door…what a lovely way to say that! Thanks also for the words of inspiration on following one’s intuition. Excellent share!
thank you Suzette, I appreciate your comments. I love all seasons, but that “comfort” station means even more in winter… when hands and feet are cold .. and you just need a private moment ^_^ …
Yes… to wonderful places to pause in winter. Thank you.
Whenever I see snow like this I feel like I should slow down and whisper. Lovely photos!
Thank you Brenda.. every season has its blessings. waves good morning to you.
