Hello… remember me.. I am here even tho’ I’ve been boarded up … I can still see you as you pass me by… no longer interested in how I’m doing … I miss the sunny smiles, and the cheerful greetings of passersby … It isn’t my fault that fate happened, and I was made redundant.. .. I do smile as you walk by and hope you will feel the cheerful greeting I send you..
Everyone is in such a rush today, always in a hurry, or looking at some object in their hand… I once had flower beds under me, I could watch as each planting grew each year from budding babies to beautiful petals in such an array of delightful colours. Visitors would stop to admire the flowers and always there would be a smile my way .. Alas that was another day,
As we age, we do see and live through changes, Some changes are life changing, and there is no going back. The reality is.. there IS NO GOING BACK… we can revisit the place, but not the time.
