domingo, bom dia

Waking to another day, yawns and stretches

looks out the window, nice, sunshine

still …. don’t know if I’ve finished with the dream

the bed was sooo cosy, familiar moment =^_^=

bem vindo – welcome to another day

Precept #1 … life is art…

We have a whole new day to spend in our own special way

If I was by the lake,

it would be great to sit outside for morning prayers

the morning light shimmering over the water,

the birds singing in the trees

the canoe would beckon and I would want to

drift slowly out into the calm

and from the canoe close my eyes

to feel the morning dew, and let my thoughts

and happiness drift up to you.

You are with me everywhere

I know, I really truly do,

so I’ll head over to church and share this morning’s

prayer with you, with my friends in our community who share my love for you. With anticipation, I look forward

to the dedicated service that we have that allows us to pray together, each and every voice blending in unison

expanding our happiness in being ONE with you.

What if

What if, you went to the ball,

instead of dancing all night

you sat alone and listened to the music

and didn’t dance at all

or could it have been your heart was tired and sick

Why, why cries the inner voice

you do have a choice

stand up, turn and walk away

some times our dreams are not centered on reality

but rather an illusion of another time

when love was blind and you believed

in once upon a time.

love was raw

the passion intense

yet it didn’t last, it faded like a summer’s day

before the first winter storm

and you were left to find the pieces of your broken dreams

did you really believe he was your prince

that finally at long last, all the make believe was coming true

there is only one way to find your one and only true love

and that is to know what makes you happy

and to want it more than anything

because it will be for you, and only you.

for two to be one

both have first to know themselves

saying I love you, is not enough

words are words,

actions speak louder than words

we are never alone

we may feel alone, but we are never alone

we have but to listen to our hearts

and know that we our connected

the miles disappear

when we are connected by the awareness

that we are all ONE.

being thankful

I remember being totally fascinated and captivated by the story of Easter Island. I was lost in the mystery of it all. I dreamed of travelling there to see the giants for myself. I never did, instead as i made my way in life, I found that my life itself was full of mysteries , my own wonders at the complexities in life, How I could love so much and enjoy so much yet seem to always be “odd person out”

Even when I hurt, or feeling sad and down, they were feelings that I seemed to revel in, I basked in the emotions that engulfed me and examined how they made me feel and how I got there. They were lessons, I went through the heartbreak of wanting so much for someone to care, and not recognizing that a relationship is based on BOTH parties being of the same mind.

It takes living the experience to learn the value of the lesson taught. I have been blessed with many lessons in life. Each lesson has made me a much stronger and independent woman. It is in paying attention to each and every moment of our lives that we grow, that we blossom, unfold and mature into the person we become. In a lifetime, we continue to experience the many changes and lessons until it is time for us to quietly transition to another state of BEING.

When we truly appreciate all that we have lived, and what IS, Then and only then will we find true happiness. Give thanks every day for the wonders in life that have blessed you during your lifetime. To every negative there is a positive. Kindness and love for another are gifts to be treasured. I give thanks for each and everyone of you, you are so very appreciated.

What happened

Happiness is not about luck, it is about how you perceive the world around you. I grew up thinking I was Chinese, then one day discovered that I was part Irish. Go figure on my Mother’s side, Did that change who I was, no, for some reason, I have always just said, when asked, I’m Chinese. Interestingly, come March 17, I want to wear green, and I feel a kinship for all that is Ireland. (Irish)

The PL teaching for the 17th . is “The things that happen in our lives are neither good or bad. It is our perspective that determine whether the outcome is good or unfortunate.”

When I wrote my virtual blog earlier, http://virtualluna.blogspot.ca/ I wrote about weddings, love, partnerships, it took me on a trip down memory lane.

Later in the day I spoke with a special lady who told me of a beautiful relationship she had, and how it had ended when her partner passed away.

Love is such a beautiful emotion, when there is true love, I am a believer that life is and will always hold that love in a very special part of who we are. A good friendship never really dies, it fades away, but the joy of that friendship will live in our hearts for a long time.

I agree, some people are just not meant to be lovers, or married, but at one time they shared a very special bond, and that memory, that experience, will always be part of their chemistry, (makeup).it will form who they are in the present. We all know the expression, “it is better to have loved and lost, then to never have loved at all”.

What happens when we fall in love, and what goes wrong, who really knows. But when the happiness and joy of being together is no longer there, When you no longer can share your heart willingly, then it is time to let go and move on. Love is a blessing, it is a gift, not a chain that binds.

So today, while the leprechaun play, and the fiddler has us dancing, hold out your hand and clasp the friends you care about … recognize and appreciate that this is a day to be happy that they are in you life.

I truly believe that

I retain my peace of mind,

and instead of suppressing a sadness/disappointment

I acknowledge it and move on

PL Precept # 19 Begin Once you Perceive

I can appreciate what was,

but I move in the direction that will nurture my spiritual needs

I want always to be ONE with the Universe/God

To love and feel love in my heart

PL Precept # 11 – Always be with God

PL Precept # 20 Live Maintaining Equilibrium Between Mind and Matter

It can be sad when friendships end,

but if you remember the good in what was

the happiness is always be

we don’t stop caring because a person turns away

love is unconditional

however, we sometimes have to accept

that the other person’s needs

were not something you could provide

you can only love them and pray for their happiness

Wolves

I hope you take a moment to watch the above video clip. This was information that I had not known, and on seeing it and hearing it, I had to pause in my day to reflect on just what it was that this documentary was saying. I’m sure that I will still be thinking about it for some tine to come. I have always had a fascination with wolves, and other wildlife, the same as I feel that we are one with Nature, I believe that any other living being/creature is also part of this world that I inhabit and that we are all connected in one way or another.
