Rules – Good morning everyone!

Look at the dog’s eyes, I can almost hear him/her asking his mistress “really, did I sign up for this”, this is what you want me to do?” Meanwhile the little cuddly friend is happily drinking from the bottle and thinking only of how yummy, delicious it is. This is a wonderful picture. I send an enormous thank you to the artist that put the energy and creativity into bringing it to us. It brought a smile to my day and for sure, to millions of others who saw and delighted in the composition. Before social media, we were still able to come up with such clever ideas, and take pictures to show our friends and family But we couldn’t share like we do today, we didn’t have the tools to allow total strangers all over the world to share in our creative moment.

Yes we still had artistic expression, we still lived our lives moment by moment, we did our chores, played, worked and played some more, but the element of having our creativity, thoughts,dreams and expressions on display for all to see… well …. that was unknown. Until…. someone somewhere broke a rule, or stepped outside a box and brought new potential and far reaching ideas into tangible possibilities. There is a joy in being creative. Every day I see friends who live miles and sometimes continents apart sharing their day and thoughts with friends they’ve met in virtual worlds, on Facebook, in games.. and it is not just inane chatter, often is is meaningful, supportive and caring.

While we live in a world where there is a framework of laws, morals and rules to follow, the keyword here is framework…. when Divine Spirit is our constant companion and we are always in touch, (connected) love is our motivation,world peace and inner joy our goal, then a rule is a man made what? guideline?………… I know they are needed…………..but…………….

Buen dia, Happy Happy Wednesday!

A cheerful bouquet of flowers for you dear readers.

Different flowers usually have separate meanings – flower symbolism is broadly characterized by two essentially different considerations – essence and shape.. By its nature it speaks of transition – the process or period of changing from one state or condition to another. We anticipate their beauty, we appreciate their fragrance, marvel at their delicate petals and intricate throats, veins and petals. We even share the beauty and pleasure they give with those we love and use them to express our love and feelings. when as Nature does, they fade and pass on, we treasure the time spent, the memory of the moment, and we move on, happy with the shared moment tucked away in our hearts. Yellow in symbolism when it comes to flowers, usually represents the sun/sunshine – it is very yang. (I Ching) Egyptians would put flowers on a table as a reminder of the realities of death, and the joys and pleasures in life. The painter of this picture, used a blue that speaks to me of the heavens. Blue the colour of rarefied atmosphere, clear blue skies.. In symbolism, blue often represents “thinking’ (thoughts)………..

Today’s PL lesson is about becoming a better person. If we are content with the status quo, our progress will stop, we are encouraged to always look for ways to improve and become more in tune with the Universe. To continue our journey in life, moving forward. Praying every day that our journey will bring us closer to a Divine State of Being.… one step at a time, mindful of the present….. let love in…. let love motivate your actions, and your thoughts. Allow love to colour your world today. May the blessings from above rain down like a cleansing and refreshing spring shower to feed your soul….That the flower that is you, will be nourished and grow stronger this day……. so your beauty will shine for all the world to see. Really another Friday!

Good Morning everyone! Bonjour! How can it be Friday again so soon….. isn’t this a fantastic photo, the photographer captured not only the moment, but his/her framing, depth and vision produced an image that evokes stillness and tranquility. I can actually feel the quiescence of the moment, it imparts a state of quietude that I not only see, but feel. The picture holds my attention, I am captured by and lost in the moment. The photographer is an artist, who balanced the visual of the scenery before his/her eyes, with what he/she wanted to present. This required focus, (mindfulness). Once captured, the image had to be studied and conceptualized, so that the cropping would reflect the artists rendition of that moment in time.

So much went on behind the scenes of this photograph, and the moment you and I are now sharing. Because of this, we are able to share in a moment of silence together, and delight in moment of appreciation. Let us try to put a prayerful mind, and our hearts into everything we say and do today. When you look at someone today – look deep into their eyes and silently say, The light of the Universe in me, salutes the light of God in you. Blessings all, Oyashikiri
