Two places of worship. Although very different in architecture, the doors to the buildings are used regularly, and the ambiance and feeling of sanctuary and peace is ever present. The paved meditation/walking circle is at t he United church. The cross is part of their gardens in the front of the church. For now during Covid the door being used to enter the building is kept locked, but one can ring the bell for assistance at the side door.

These doors and the quotation make good companions
Thank you dear friend… I had another picture of the doors at the meditation/prayer circle, but somehow it just wouldn’t insert.. sigh.. another time… virtual hugs my friend.

The Labyrinth and walking paths are such beautiful ways to help us clear our minds and connect to God, always inside of us.
Thank you for reminding us
I think the saddest part of the pandemic was the number of locked churches.
I also found it sad, and disappointing. Church is an important part of people’s lives, yet very few made an attempt to make lemonade out of the lemons they had.
Ok, I knew the circle had to be for a reason so thanks for clarifying the reason of prayer or meditation. Interesting
Now there is a project for you… Church doors of your city. From store fronts to cathedrals.
Definitely diverse looks for churches. đŸ™‚
