A fine WordPress.com site

a door J’adore

I stand here ready – I am not pretty- nor am I handsome – I am a door

I function – I open and I close – I may not be considered attractive – but I do my job – I am a door

I am different, I am unique – there was purpose in my making – I am a door

– now dear reader – you can say

I just met a door so interesting, so individualistic in character, it only made sense, to create a verse

to celebrate how ordinary can be extraordinary when it becomes a door.

Well done. There is something to be said for serving a purpose without calling attention to oneself.

This is an extraordinary door, Oyashikiri. Yes, I can see the lace in that small window. 🙂
