There is a quiet that transcends all else when you can stand in the middle of the forest and simply take in the moment. That middle photo with the tree limbs reaching out for one another is mesmerizing… it makes one wonder what the trees are thinking amongst each other, with snow dropping all around, their feet in the frozen ground; reaching for their neighbor’s stems, to find comfort in the newness of it all. Ready or not, here winter comes!
