Spring is in the air, the red wing blackbird was amongst the breakfast crowd yesterday morning, as well as the very vocal pileated woodpecker.
Being considerate of others is just as important as what works for you.
Always be mindful of the situations of others, not just your own. To have a good relationship with those around you always think of what is important to them too.

They say seeing an owl is a good omen*. I saw the gray the other day as large as life, he was looking down at a photographer who was busy taking photos of him. I was a tad too far to get a good enough picture, but had this one Louis sent me the other day. What must this great bird think of the humans who stand out in the field everyday, pointing their arms up towards him with the big round glass objects. I wonder if he considers them at all.. are they a curiosity. Will never know will I.
I have seen the Barred Owl up close and personal, would be interesting to see the two in close proximity. The weather has turned mild, but then .. this is March and this is Ottawa, we could be basking in spring like weather, only to be visited by a wild, angry winter storm stamping and growling its way out of the region. … for those interested in the dryer saga.. there is now a new compact dryer installed and operational.. almost had to deal with another refusal on the removal of the old one, but thanks to caring delivery personnel, the old one was taken away,

I am an avid explorer in the virtual world always searching out good locations to film/do photo shoot in, I was sent a site location yesterday by a fellow photographer from France.
I’d like to show you my experience while touring the site he sent me, I took the solo flight. It was an amazing journey through space, the artists who created this experience were spot on.. It is a meditation in itself.

Pileated Woodpecker .. got to spend a quick moment with one yesterday morning. We startled each other, altho’ he/she was greeting me with a knock, knock, knock inches away from me. We came face to face (he/she was at my face level)
Male on the left – female on the right. I will post a link at the end of this post if you want to know more about this beautiful bird. It is about the size of a crow. (they mate for life)

I remember many years back, living in BC, we took a trip into the mountains… my husband at the time was an avid outdoors person. He had booked a rustic weekend,, the overnight was in a log cabin such as the one shown above, only it was in some remote location and totally a surprise to me… we required our own linen, the stove to cook on was wood, and the loo was a walk into the woods to an outhouse. Those of you who have known me for a long time .. know what my reaction would have been. The activity of the day, was fishing on a crystal clear lake from a row boat. the dog loved it.
Live today filled with enthusiasm
Life is an accumulation of the efforts you make, day by day. Live keeping in mind that “today” only comes once and live your precious life to the fullest.
