It doesn’t matter if you are “getting anything out of it”. Whether there is a response is secondary. It is sincere heartfelt devotion that is rewarding. It brings transformation. After watching the news last night and seeing the snow storms that hit parts of the States and Canada leaving behind a mess to be cleaned up and dealt with for days to come, went searching for a picture that showed green vegetation and new growth. Wow my prayers and positive energy is being sent out to all of you who need that extra boost.
The PL lesson for today was > Begin each Day with a Renewed Sense of Appreciation < Are you living each day and getting into a rut? By making small changes in the things you do, your day to day life can become fresh and exciting. We are here today , by the grace of God. Let’s make each day meaningful, by starting out with a feeling of gratitude for a brand new day. In being genuinely happy about life, we will be blessed with a deeper sense of happiness.
Smile, you are loved each and every day, sometimes we may not feel very loved, but you are. Know and believe, you are loved.

Are there moments when you feel the ship has sailed and you are not on it. …. Do you feel you are standing on the dock watching it sail away thinking you should have gotten there sooner ….. If you are on the dock, it is because that is where you were meant to be …… That ship wasn’t the one that had a berth on it for you. At the time, you might not realize that, but Believe …. because if and when the time is right for you to be on the boat, you will be.
There is no denying that life can be a struggle. Often we can feel pulled in far too many directions. World news is negative and television and movies can be so violent. How do we stay tuned to the “word of ‘God/TaoUniverse”, we Trust in our divine connection with the Higher Power. we Believe with all our hearts that our prayers are heard, and Know that we are blessed. Whatever we are living it is because we are in a learning curve, give thanks that you are alive, the moment will pass, and life will move on.
Say good riddance to the past and move on. Today is a brand new day. My prayers are with you today, and always. Blessings, Oyashikiri…

Do you wake up and view the world around you in a positive light? Are you a half full, or half empty (glass) person? Or do you tend to see the world through a cloud, or haze that never seems to go away?
There is beauty in all times of the day or night, and if you are in a mood to find it, there is also gloom and loneliness even doom. When we give ourselves to God (higher power/TAO) we are blessed with a divine inner strength that helps ground us and travel with us through the many challenges we face in life. Before we can even begin to find happiness with someone else, or in the world, we have to begin with liking ourSELVES. To take responsibility for who we are and what we do.
Acts of respect and courtesy are reflections of how much we value others. We have all heard the expression, “no man is an island” its been around for years, and it has stayed around, because over and over it is a lesson we need to be reminded of.
All meaning in life is arbitrary. It is not tied to god, family or self unless we define it as such. Nothing in life gives us meaning in and of itself. It is we who assign meaning to objects and relationships.

There is a great sense of joy when we are able to express our true selves. Our environment and the things that happen all around us, are all materials for self expression. In PL we are taught that with God’s blessing, we will be able to freely express ourselves using these materials. When I found this little church tucked away between a wooded area and the sea, the artist’s build brought a genuine smile and joy to me. If you are virtual traveler this is the link to ! World peace starts with peace at home… Our world is overflowing with problems. When we pray, let’s pray for not only family and friends, but for the happiness and peace of the entire world. the joy of expressing kindness to others is much greater than when someone does something kind for you. When we can be genuinely happy for someone else, our lives will be blessed and we will experience a deeper sense of happiness. Love is beautiful, it is pure, and when we share our love beyond our own borders, it flows out to the entire world. Amen! Oyashikiri
Part of healing is being vulnerable. It is through life’s lessons that we learn, our imperfections are exposed. In sharing it is not so other’s can fix us or rescue us, but so we can love and accept ourselves. Sharing is a catalyst in healing and change. Our value and worth is not determined by how hard we struggle. Learn to let things happen easily and naturally. Allow the “Universe” to ease us into where we need to be. Be open to the circumstances in your life. The love and light of God/Tao surrounds us.
Put sincerity into everything you do.

When you hear” Let’s interact Proactively”, what comes to mind? There is a lesson in PL, that with society changing as rapidly as it is, we have to keep our eyes and mind in tune to the changes and learn to deal with them proactively. I agree, however in my daily meditations, I find that there are times when I struggle to be proactive with mySELF. I underlined, read and reread a sentence once that began “Come back home to yourself” during an especially difficult time in my life, To this day, I pray for the strength to remain true to the belief that I am where I am meant to be, and to give thanks for getting this far. I will accept and surrender to my present moments, the difficult ones, and the easy ones. LOL and here is the biggie for me… I will stop trying to control the process.…..I will trust in the process.…. I will be proactive with the guiding light of God.
The more knowledge shared/given away, the more will be received – Tao

I first heard that term in a book by Melody Beattie, The language of Letting Go. Its been a lesson that I’ve had to work on for most of my adult life.
Being responsible, owning what you do, and the situations you find yourself in.
Learning to face situations head on, learning to focus on the moment. If we do this, and truly believe in our passion, a path will open up. You will find a way to be comfortable with where you are, and what you are feeling. Each moment is a new creation to be savored and experienced fully. Embrace the healing presence of God within us. Quietly and with a new zest for life, we open our minds to rich new ideas. ideas, that help us give of ourselves, our talents and our resources. God is life itself. Through the presence of God within, the old washes away, everything is new again. PL Precept #1 – Life is Art.. every day is a new beginning.
Daily we are given directions or a nudge by the Universe, do we see them, do we act on them, or do we simply walk on by without really experiencing the moment. Let us let us learn to express ourselves freely. We are able to experience the joy of being creative because we have the framework of laws, morals and rules to follow.
PL Precept #3 God appears through One’s Self.
PL Principle #1 I will live paying careful attention, putting Makoto (sincerity) into all I say and do.
Interior silence – the inner stillness t which meditation/prayer leads, is where the “spirit” secretly anoints the soul and heals our deepest wounds. (John of the cross)
