Changes

It isn’t always easy to accept changes in our lives – Yet the world around us is constantly changing. Take on the challenging and new experiences as materials for self expression.

Your path will open up if you accept, and let go. The garden statue sits through the seasons, enduring and patient. As he/she weathers and ages, his/her newness disappears and is replaced by a mantle of character that is all his/her own.

Dreams -astral journeys

Have you ever felt the draw to return to your dream. You wake up and feel that where you’ve been, and what you’ve seen was so so very much a part of who you are. Have you heard of “astral projection”? At one time, there was a lot of talk, discussion and study on the ability of the spiritual form to travel across space and explore other dimensions, and even visit family and friends.

I don’t hear a lot about that these days, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. Maybe it is because I feel that my night time travels are an extension of my days or “awake” time. I think it helped that my Mother always shared her dream experiences with me, so it wasn’t out of the ordinary. Just matter of fact. Like the TAO/God being a constant factor, it wasn’t a relationship I needed to find, it was part of my daily life, life breathing. Respect for nature and all mankind was natural because it was an extension of who I was. Life is my studio, and I am the artist.

Dreams are part of my inventory, and astral journeys are part of my research. Life is good, life is full, and most of all, life is love.

When you live with love in your heart, you enjoy the full spectrum of life. Jai Guru Dev (TM) Oyashikiri (PL) Amen =^_^=

Live today to the fullest

When the world lacks colour, we have to find our own.

When skies are gray with clouds, rediscover your home – When it is too cold and the outside landscape seems frozen and unwelcoming, snuggle in at home. Home can be anywhere, find a chair, close your eyes, connect with God and you are HOME.

Our “spirit” includes emotions, energy, hope, courage, , it embraces our individual choices regarding ethics, morals, values and integrity. How you live your life, what you take from and give to life is an integral part of your spirit.

Let us choose to put our whole heart into whatever we do. Let us practice being mindful towards achieving a better balance in our daily living. Keep prayer a daily practice, stay connected.

Transformations

Transformation “a marked change”

Today’s lesson is to realize that we have changed over time, and to take ownership of these changes. “Discover the Joy of Transforming Yourself” Change is ongoing, changes are a continuous factor in our lives, if I’m focused/mindful, would I think that the changes are that remarkable? Hmm something to ponder don’t you think? Certainly I see changes from when I was in a career phase, to how I am enjoying life now. But I loved what I did, I loved the challenges of going in to work every day, certainly I did the grumbling and groaning along some of the paths, but over all it was rewarding to watch projects take shape and reach their goals. Every day was a new beginning and I still practice that today. I grew up believing and living with TAO (Universe/God) and the Taoist philosophy -the only constant in life is change – We are all ONE with the Universe… Transformations are part of life. How are you doing with the changes in your life?

“Count your Blessings” =^_^= The key to change is within ...

Healing begins within

A single flower amid lush greenery – this picture always gives a moment of reflection and feel good feeling. I see the fragile petals against the more rigid leaves of the evergreen. The tinged pink blush along the petals gives the flower a delicate look and though it is a soft velvety smooth petal, the flower itself gives an overall message of strength. “Look at me, I’m here” “Come enjoy me, bend closer smell my fragrance” To the bees and insects it calls out, “join me, share in my life” Nature is a work of art, and it co-exists with the world around it. Why is it, that the human species finds it so difficult to achieve this same “Oneness” with the “Universe”

Acts of respect and courtesy are reflections on how we value others. Healing begins within our “selves” When we feel love and positive energy within, it is an energy that reflects out to the world around us. It is no secret, the energy of healing begins with us. Our willingness to change, may or may not benefit others, but we become healed. We become capable of love. Today I will work on a change of heart. I will let go of negative thoughts and replace them with the healing energy of love

Are you snug and warm?
Today is going to be very cold…

Is the partying all done? You ready now to hit the slops and exercise?

The turkey has been eaten, the desserts have been happily devoured … now you know its time to decide.

Which road to take. It is a brand new year, let’s set higher goals and work to improve ourselves. The Joy of Expression is in the Process. When each day is a new canvas, goals are much easier to attain.

The flowers of summer bloom forever in our hearts. Love is a constant in our lives, always and forever. Blessings now and always – Oyashikiri

Another new year

We seem to hear and ask – Where does the time go? ” Time marches on”, yup, if you don’t live each and every moment of your life to the fullest, you find at the end of the year that there are holes in your memory quilt, some of the patches lack colour, and others are simply blank.

We all hope for colour in our lives, and if life was perfect, we would always live in sunshine.

Making a quilt, we search out the material and patterns like a treasure hunter on the hunt for the elusive hidden chest of gold. Most quilters I think will agree with me, it is the hunt, or chase that is the most exciting. Yes when we find our “prize” its nice, but 9 times out of 10, that prize once it goes into our”Stash”, we are off on the next exciting search for that piece that will just pull it all together.

Life overall is just the same. it is one constant adventure after the other. I’ve loved travelling through time with you .. and look forward to our next adventures in 2014. January 1 is a special day in PL, Perfect Liberty, we celebrate with a special ceremony that marks the start of the New Year. In this ceremony we dedicate ourselves to begin anew, living an artistic life according to the teachings of Perfect Liberty.

Enthusiasm

PL lesson for yesterday was – Act with Enthusiasm – it was something I just couldn’t get enthusiastic about, until I read further, “If you put your whole heart into whatever you do, you will be able to appreciate any task at hand.”
Hmmm – yup I could do that, my objective for the day was to do as little as possible, In the afternoon I actually took a lie down, not to sleep, but to do nothing..
I did doze, but with no telly, no phone,no PC, no radio, I soon drifted into what my mother used to call “daydreaming”
It was nice.
It was rewarding, it was calming and peaceful.
My body rested, and best of all my mind had a holiday away from news,weather and sports. If you get my drift.
My lesson yesterday. enthusiasm = being in the moment and doing it whole-heartedly =^_^=

LOL – I looked at today’s lesson, ‘Just be Yourself” that’s me…. easy peasy. What are your plans for today? Are you making time for yourself during this busy time of the year? LIFE IS ART.
